It’s an exciting time to be in the South of France as the 62nd Annual Cannes Film Festival is in full swing.  And last night Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt were spotted hitting up the DSquared2 Grand Opening Party.

The “Simple Life” hottie and her MLB beau appeared to be very loved up as they posed for the paparazzi in the arrivals area, kissing and canoodling all the while.

Paris looked absolutely fabulous in a sexy white halter-style dress with black and gold heels while Doug opted for a blazer/button-up/jeans combo.

Other celebrity guests in the house included Victoria Slivstedt, Robert Pattinson, Peaches Geldof, and Lady Victoria Hervey.

Barron "I had my first DUI when I was just 18" Hilton is ready to take the world by storm. Hold your laughter please. According to the New York Post, Paris’ little brother is currently producing an album and is in talks with Viacom to produce a reality show. How original. He told the paper:

"I want to be an international singer-songwriter. I’m sick of all the Hilton stuff, where all anyone cared about was whether I was doing coke in the bathroom or how many [bleeps] I was sleeping with. I’m done with partying and traveling. It’s time to get this [bleep] started. [The reality show is] gonna be like ‘The Hills,’ but real. A lot of that stuff is pre-setup or re-setup. Newsflash Barron: Your music really is going to "make people cry" . . . as soon as they press "Play." What’s hardest to understand about this story is why Barron has decided to give up on partying and banging random sluts. Isn’t that the whole reason for becoming a musician in the first place? I’d be inclined to believe that Barron’s aspirations were indeed altruistic and not self-serving if it weren’t for one minor detail: His last name.

Doug Reinhardt has a bloody lip.and it’s not because of an excessive public makeout session with gal-pal Paris Hilton.

The PDA-friendly couple got into a bit of a bar brawl in Miami Beach early Friday morning, E! News confirms. The pair were apparently attacked near the DJ booth at the Fontainebleau.

Around 4 a.m., as the spinner was playing techno tracks, the BFF-seeker approached him to request a dance tune by Madonna or the Black-Eyed Peas. A nearby bodyguard reportedly got defensive and pushed the celebutante, according to an E! News source.

Like a good boyfriend-take that, Amanda Bynes!-Reinhardt came to her rescue and told the brute to lay off his lady. Things took a turn for the physical, and hotel security had to intervene. Cops were called, but no charges were filed, according to Radar Online.

As the couple heads to an appearance at a New Jersey club tonight, the scratch-free reality starlet will have to nurse her Hills hottie’s bruised, er, lip.

Scary news just in: Paris Hilton is ready to have a baby!! The 28-year-old socialite thinks her biological clock is ticking so she’s given up drinking and partying as she puts her baby plan into action.

Over the weekend we caught up with the heiress, who was sporting a fancy new do, as she filmed her ‘New BFF’ show in Hollywood and in case you didn’t know Paris is currently dating baseball player Doug Reinhardt, well we say ‘currently dating’ but after hearing she’s on a baby mission we wouldn’t be surprised if he suddenly goes A.W.OL. would you?!

   

Continuing their attached-at-the-hip ways,  Paris Hilton and  Doug Reinhardt were spotted enjoying an evening out at My House nightclub last night (March 20).

The “Simple Life” cutie and her baseball-playing beau looked to be having a marvelous time as they held hands and smiled at each other throughout the evening.

In related news, engagement rumors have already begun to circulate, though Paris and Doug have only been together since last month.

A source told press, “Doug is smitten with Paris and wants to spend the rest of his life with her. He’s already found the perfect ring, asked her father for permission and is now waiting for the right time to pop the question.”

The least talented of Hollywood’s elite are getting desperate for attention.

Earlier this week, we reported that Lindsay Lohan has been reduced to selling her own brand of self-tanner.

Now, Paris Hilton – without a new movie, album, sex tape or skill of any kind – is in such need for relevance that she invited celebrity gossip photographers to join her… underwater!

We’ve already shown you photos of Paris and new boy toy Doug Reinhardt in Hawaii. Perhaps, in this case, the couple could pretend as though the paparazzi invaded its privacy by snapping shots of the pair’s supposedly private embrace.

But a new round of pictures sheds light on just how this industry works: celebrities invite photographers into their lives, and are paid a fee for allowing them to take “candid” photos of them.

Either that, or some reporter got REALLY lucky that he happened to be scuba diving at the same time as Paris…

Please, readers. Don’t ever let a celebrity fool you into thinking that life is tough because cameras follow him/her around. Most stars invite this attention at every turn.

Snoop’s freestyle with Paris will be shown on the variety talk show called “Dogg After Dark” on Tuesday, February 17 at 9 P.M. ET/PT and 8 P.M. CST on MTV. Plenty of other stars will be shown including Pharrell and Kid Cudi.

Snoop Dogg has been set to release his new album “Malice in Wonderland” through MTV.

As for Paris Hilton, she is going to record some hip-hop songs for her next album. She’ll be joining forces with actor/rapper Simon Rex.
