Rihanna kicks off the new year by gracing the cover of GQ UK magazine. Hollywood rockstar spiced up the January 2011 issue of British edition of GQ magazine. Hollywood sexy doll Rihanna, who is celebrating the success of her new Loud album talks about her red-hot sexy image, leaving ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and her new album ‘Loud’ in interview.

Stepping out for a stellar performance, Rihanna took the stage at Rai Studios in Milan, Italy on Tuesday night (November 9).

The "S&M" singer was on-hand for an appearance on the Italian "X-Factor" as she belted out her hit song "The Only Girl [In the World]" for a packed audience.

The Italian stop comes as Rihanna gears up for the release of her new album, which hits store shelves next week on November 16th.

Prior to visiting Italy, the Barbadian beauty was in Madrid, Spain for a performance during the 2010 MTV EMAs.

It’s been more than a year since Chris Brown pled guilty to assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna. And after keeping relatively quiet about the infamous post-Grammys incident, Rihanna opens up about the experience in the December issue of Marie Claire.
"God has a crazy way of working, and sometimes when stuff happens you feel like, ‘What did I do to deserve this?’ Why was it backfiring on me?’" the Grammy Award-winning singer tells the magazine. "But I needed that wake-up call in my life. I needed a turning point, and that’s what God was giving to me."
But all the press made it even harder, she admits. "All this terrible stuff they say to you, it breaks you down. [But] once you’re back on your feet — if you ever make it back on your feet — that’s the ultimate achievement."

Rihanna also reveals when she knew it was over with Brown. "I remember I was in New York at the Trump Hotel and I woke up and I just knew I was over it. It was a different day. I felt different. I didn’t feel lonely. I felt like I wanted to get up and be in the world. That was a great, great feeling."
And the singer doesn’t seem to regret her decision at all. "I feel like I smile for real this time. The smiles come from inside, and it exudes in everything I do. People feel my energy is different. When I smile they can tell that it’s pure bliss and not just a cover up," Rihanna says.

Taking the stage for a dazzling performance, Rihanna was a hit at the 2010 Echo Awards at the Palais am Funkturm in Berlin, Germany on Thursday.

The Barbadian beauty switched out of her lovely green dress into a curve-hugging bodysuit as she performed her latest single “Rude Boy” for the amped up crowd.

The appearance comes just as RiRi broke a Billboard record as he single “Rude Boy” cracked the top ten by landing at the No. 8 spot.

Making for her 14th Hot 100 hit, Rihanna now holds the most Hot 100 Top 10s by a female artist since the beginning of the last decade.

Continuing to push forth with her ultra-successful career, Rihanna’s latest song headed to the world of music videos happens to be “Rude Boy”.

Recently talking to press about the project, the Barbadian beauty told MTV Korea, “It’s really colorful; it’s a pop art video.”

RiRi continues of the “Rude Boy” video, “We shot it all on green screen. Everything was done in post-production. It’s really colorful, really energetic. It was really inspired by my Caribbean roots. I love reggae music. [Rude Boy] is a Jamaican term, so our costumes are dancehall-queen-like. It’s a fun video. Probably the most fun video we’ve done so far.”

Switching subjects to talk about her plans for the future, the 22-year-old says, “Rated R – I love the sound of it, in terms of the bass. I really like the bottom, the grime of it. But if I were to combine that with more energetic, uptempo pop records, then I think that will be a happy marriage. And that’s where we’ll probably go next.”

Taking her promotional efforts to the Land Down Under, Rihanna was spotted looking oh-so-sexy at a photocall session in Sydney, Australia on Sunday .

Entertaining a full house while rolling into a new year, Rihanna performed at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates on Thursday night.

Gearing up the crowd with all of her hits, the Barbadian beauty churned out tunes including “Hate That I Love You”, “SOS” and “Don’t Stop The Music” before closing the gig out with “Umbrella”.

Meanwhile, Rihanna dished on her New Year’s resolutions, telling, “I want to stop shopping, being late, start waking up early, stuff like that. I’d like to see my mum and grandparents more.”

She adds, “I want to learn the drums and I want to work with Depeche Mode (band) so bad.”

Continuing along with her international travels, Rihanna was spotted making her arrival to London, England on Thursday.

Fresh off of a Eurostar ride from Paris, the “Russian Roulette” singer donned a warm fur cap as she passed through the St Pancras International station and out to an awaiting ride.

Meanwhile, Ri-Ri will soon be ending her stay in Europe to return for work duties back in the States.

This weekend (December 19th), the Barbadian beauty will be in Manhattan for a very special holiday concert to be held at Rockefeller Center.

Taking the stage for a promotional gig, Rihanna attended the launch party for the NOKIA X6 at the Brixton Academy in London on Monday night.

With celebs including former Spice Girl Emma Bunton in attendance, the Barbadian beauty turned out tunes from her upcoming album, Rated R, which hits store shelves on November 23rd.

Among the evening’s set, Rihanna knocked out new tunes including “Russian Roulette,” “Mad House,” “Wait Your Turn” and “Hard”.

Bringing up special guests including Young Jeezy and Jay-Z, the 20-year-old also dropped some of her past tunes such as “Take A Bow,” “Live Your Life” and “Run This Town”.

After taking the Eurostar into town earlier in the day, Rihanna got busy with her “Rated R” promotional efforts in London on Friday.

The Barbadian beauty ended up changing ensembles, then visiting FHM studios as she boosts interest in her upcoming album – which hits stores on November 23.

Meanwhile, Rihanna is also fresh off the release of her first single, Russian Roulette, which has shot up 66 spots to crack the Billboard Top 10 at the No. 9 slot.

The video has just been made available on the Web, with its TV debut scheduled to take place on 20/20 later tonight.
