Mothers and Daughters star Eva Amurri Martino posted an updated baby bump photo via Instagram Wednesday.
“Today on the blog I wrote a very personal & honest post about a major pregnancy disappointment I encountered on Monday. While nothing (thankfully) catastrophic happened, it did stir up a ton of feelings and made me realize how I’m ACTUALLY doing these days,” the Undateable actress, 31, captioned the image.
In her blog post, the Californication actress dished on her hopes for a homebirth, her recent experience with a 3D ultrasound, and her son’s breech presentation.
“Monday was a pretty hard day. It wasn’t catastrophic, nothing absolutely terrible happened, and everyone I love is still standing,” she began her post. “Those are the important things. But on Monday, I had a disappointment that brought up a lot of feelings and made me realize a few things about how I’m ACTUALLY doing these days.”
As well, the actress opened up about her previous miscarriage.
“It was exactly one year to the day of my Miscarriage. I froze,” she shared. “A huge wave of sadness washed over me and I finally knew why my heart and my body had been on edge all day. I didn’t know how I hadn’t remembered that date. Clearly my body had remembered, and had been holding on to anxiety and feelings about it all day long.”
The Isolation actress and her 36 Hours host husband Kyle Martino, 35, are expecting their second child – a son – this fall. They are already parents to 2-year-old daughter Marlowe.
