Controversial opinion: I honestly think Chrissy Teigen needs to take two steps away from her social media accounts, because she has a hair-trigger temper and/or she’s just very, very thirsty. While Chrissy plucks my last nerve, I adore her husband, the Oscar-winner and Grammy-winner John Legend. He’s lovely. He seems calm, sedate, even-tempered and kind. He rarely makes news. But I guess Chrissy is rubbing off on him, either that or Legend has just had ENOUGH.

Following a month of general awfulness with and around Donald Trump, John Legend ended up getting into a Twitter beef with Trump’s son, Donald Jr. A brief summary of where we are with Trump and his racism: the guy is the go-to candidate for the KKK. He’s spent years refusing to rent to African-Americans. His attacks on Pres. Obama often veered to the worst racist tropes. His attacks on Hispanics, Muslims and Native Americans have been openly offensive and racist. He’s had black students ejected from his rallies. He’s condoned the beatings of Black Lives Matter activists. Basically, Trump is a racist pig. John Legend is not the first person to point that out, but you know it’s bad when even a calm, sedate dude like John Legend is getting into Twitter beefs with Donald Jr. Following the massive clusterwhoops that was Trump’s attempted rally in Chicago on Friday (which ended in violent chaos and/or a riot), this happened:

John Legend tells no lies. And in case you were wondering, Legend graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in English with an emphasis on African-American literature. Donald Jr. also went to Univ. of Pennsylvania, and Donald Sr. graduated from Wharton at UPenn. Anyway, who’s more in love with John Legend right now?
