Battle Creek star Josh Duhamel stepped out with 2-year-old son Axl on Friday (May 27). The father-son duo enjoyed breakfast together in Brentwood, Calif.

Mama, pop star Fergie, was not spotted with the handsome pair.

Over the weekend, we spotted the Transformers actor, 43, and his tot enjoying the fair with Josh’s mother Bonnie.

“He is a fully formed two and a half year old, about to be three at the end of August,” Josh recently told E! News of his growing boy. “He’s talking, running, jumping.”

The proud papa went on to talk about his adventurous preschooler.

“What they do is they test your limits,” said the actor. “They test their limits trying to do whatever they can, and it’s usually pretty dangerous.”

In fact, Axl is quite “a little dude,” according to his dad. “It’s all about trucks and swords.”

He added: “They go from these helpless little infants to these little humans that say and think things, that you’re like, ‘Where did he learn that?’ He certainly didn’t learn that from me…unless it’s something really brilliant, and then I take all the credit.”
