I’m starting to get a weird/excited feeling about Jessa Duggar, you guys. She’s so desperate for attention and she really, really does not want to get a real job. I’m starting to get the feeling that she’d be willing to do ANYTHING to get another reality show. She would even be willing to do a reality show based on the concept of “breaking away” from the Duggar cult. My evidence? People Magazine keeps on getting leaks from an “insider” in the Duggar family and the leaks are always about how Josh has ruined everything for everyone. The leaks also mention how poor Jessa is so sad that no one is paying attention to her pregnancy.

Further evidence? Jessa has been one of the few (maybe the only?) Duggar on social media in the past two weeks. Following Josh’s Ashley Madison implosion, Jessa tweeted a link to a sermon about how adultery is terrible AND she tweeted a link to her father-in-law’s blog post about how Josh is not a “true Christian.” What else? She’s trying to promote her book and she when she was announced as the speaker at The Southern Women’s Show in Alabama (ALABAMA!!), she got a ton of online backlash because she really doesn’t have anything to offer Southern women. They would probably think she had something to offer if she wrote a book about escaping the cult, wouldn’t they? And now this… this very interesting story from People Magazine:

Shock has now turned to anger in Duggarville. As a disgraced Josh Duggar is away seeking treatment at Reformer’s Unanimous in Rockford, Illinois, a faith-based rehab center that’s reportedly helping him overcome his proclivity for infidelity and pornography, tension is brewing back at home.

When it comes to some members of wife Anna’s family, “They’re very angry,” a source close to Anna tells PEOPLE exclusively in this week’s issue. “They want her and the kids to get away from him.”

And for some, it seems Josh’s extended stint in rehab may not be enough distance between them. “They would really like him to just disappear,” says the source.

While the source says Anna’s parents, Mike and Suzette Keller, remain in Josh’s corner, he’s losing support from some of those closest to him.

Just this week his sister Jessa Seewald broke ranks, posting a link to her father-in-law’s scathing public indictment of Josh, in which he called him “wicked” and a “hypocritical Christian.”

First of all, it’s still up in the air as to whether Josh is actually in that Illinois rehab facility. I’d say there’s a 50/50 chance he’s not actually there. As for people wanting Josh to “just disappear”… part of me believes that they want to shun Josh as a way to avoid examining their own belief system and the morality they so publicly espouse. Another part wonders if Jim-Bob is going to find a way to make Josh “disappear” for the good of the family.
