Here are some photos of Tracy Anderson at an event in the Hamptons a few weeks ago with Gwyneth Paltrow. Goop and Tracy are still in business together and Tracy is still shilling her workouts and diets and whatever. Remember how Tracy has body-shamed Gwyneth several times publicly? Well, imagine my surprise when Tracy’s name popped up in a New York Post story about fitness trainers body-shaming their customers:

Industry insiders whisper that trainers like Tracy Anderson will tell patrons they need to lose five pounds. (Her rep tells The Post that that’s “a complete lie. There’s no way we would have extensive waiting lists at all our locations if that’s how we treat our clients.”)

Is it a complete lie though? Yeah, doubtful. Anyway, Tracy has some newish interviews out about all of the celebrities she knows and how her method is the best. Some highlights:

On Lena Dunham: “We were just texting the other day. We haven’t been working together in terms of her fitness lately, because they are putting everything they’ve got into this last season of ‘Girls.’ ”

Whether she still trains Kim Kardashian: “I have before, but I don’t know,” she said, admitting that it’s possible the reality star streams her workouts online and is keeping up at home. “It is a lot of diet,” she says of Kardashian’s case.

Training Jennifer Lopez: “Jennifer is someone I want to give my time to. For me, I personally like to work with her. Somebody can’t be in line to hire me, I have to want to do it.”

The biggest mistake women make after workouts: “It’s the detox to retox mentality. You have women saying, “Oh, I worked out, now I’m going to go lose all emotional control for the rest of the day, and eat pizza and a pint of ice cream.” And I’m not saying you shouldn’t eat those things. It’s fine to have pizza. It’s fine to have ice cream. You need to make sure more than anything that you’re having balance. You can’t do one good thing and trick yourself into thinking you’ve earned the right to do something bad.”

Whether celebrities are better at staying fit: “No. I think the celebrity culture is all about tricking people into wanting somebody else’s life that seems to be better than theirs. But then there’s also real entertainers and craftspeople who are all different shapes and sizes. They understand what they’re good is at is entertaining and connecting people through love of music, through escape. But I don’t think real artists care to dangle their “hot bodies” in people’s faces for commercial purposes. I don’t consider that to be a true artist. I think there’s a whole sort of breed of artist that is narcissistic and so it’s their narcissism and other people’s desires to fit in or be beautiful and accepted that these people play on to manipulate their emotions with, and I think that is disgusting.”

What always strikes me about Tracy is that she’s so judgy about her clients and about what every woman should be doing for their fitness routine and everything else. “Jennifer is someone I want to give my time to… Somebody can’t be in line to hire me, I have to want to do it.” Tracy has to WANT to work with you. She will only work with you if she approves of you. As for her answer about celebrities and staying fit… she lacks self-awareness.
