“New Moon" Continue Top At Box Office

Getting a bit of a boost thanks to the Black Friday theater rush, “New Moon” continued its dominance by claiming another weekend atop of the box office.

The hit vampire flick ended up pulling in a solid $42.5 million over the Thanksgiving weekend, raising the domestic earnings to $230.7 million in 10 days.

Easily beating out it’s predecessor, “New Moon” has already garnered almost $40 million more than last year’s “Twilight” made during its full 20-week run.

Meanwhile, the Sandra Bullock led football film “The Blind Side” finished just behind “New Moon” with an impressive $40.1 million box office take.
