Seriously, you gotta love the classy, intelligent act that is Britney Spears.

After leaving the stage for a wardbrobe change at her most recent Circus tour stop, she apparently didn’t realize her mic was still on. Hey, when you don’t actually sing into the thing during the songs, you can forget it’s even there!

Britney Spears’ father-conservator, Jamie Spears, has reportedly fired three of the pop star’s dancers from her Circus tour after they failed drug tests.

Old Man Spears is taking his role as Britney’s legal, fiscal and personal steward very seriously, making sure Brit isn’t surrounded by negative influences.

Typically, this involves battling Adnan Ghalib and Sam Lutfi in court, but his reach extends to the backup dancers who support Britney’s mega-concerts, too.

“She purposely walked up the main stairs in front of everybody so they would all notice her,” an insider said, adding that screaming fans swarmed her. “Celebrities definitely don’t need to go up the main stairs to get to their suites.

Mandy Moore and rocker fiance Ryan Adams were only engaged for a month when they got married on March 10 in Savannah, Georgia. It was an intimate ceremony. Mandy’s rep has confirmed to PEOPLE:

The singer-actress, 24, and Adams, 34, applied for a marriage license on Tuesday afternoon at the Chatham County Probate office in Savannah, according to a court source, who adds that the famous couple went unrecognized.

UPDATE: The twist is the “judges’ save,” it allows Simon-Kara-Randy-Paula to unanimously reverse the ejection of a singer who has lost in the week’s call-in vote. The judges can do this only once a season, and only in the weeks before the Top Five. (Also, the week following the save, there’ll be a double elimination.)
