I’ve been a low-key fan of Vincent Cassel for decades. I remember when I first saw him in the ‘90s, in the French film La Haine (Hate). When he turns up in English-language movies, it always makes me happy because his talent translates no matter the language. He was married to Monica Bellucci for years, and they were perhaps the most beautiful couple in all of Europe. They were not faithful to each other, or shall I say, Monica let it be known that she never expected fidelity from her husband. Monica and Vincent split in 2013 and since then, I didn’t keep up with his love life. Apparently, he began dating a young model named Tina Kunakey at some point. They got married last Friday. He’s 51 years old. She’s 21 years old. Good lord.

The Black Swan star, 51, tied the knot with French model Tina Kunakey, 21, on Friday during an intimate ceremony at the city hall in Bidart, France, nearly 500 miles from Paris. The couple looked overjoyed as they were photographed arriving at the venue. The Ocean’s Twelve actor looked mesmerized by Kunakey as he greeted her outside.

The bride wore a custom Vera Wang strapless white gown with a plunging neckline and a princess skirt, while the groom wore a cream suit, pink dress shirt and dark sunglasses.

Let’s be real: she’s drop-dead gorgeous and 21 friggin’ years old, she could have worn a burlap sack to her wedding and still looked amazing. Her Vera Wang gown was… pretty-but-obvious. I’m actually shocked that Vincent would marry a young woman in such a traditional ceremony, while she wore such a traditional princess wedding gown. He must be like, “Eh, she’s 21 and gorgeous, I’ll do whatever she wants.” But yes, it does look like a beautiful young woman is being escorted by one of her dad’s friends, or by a dodgy “uncle.” Or maybe even her granddad’s dodgy friends. YIKES, SHE WAS BORN TWO YEARS AFTER LA HAINE WAS RELEASED OMFG.

At some point in life, many little girls try to emulate their mothers. Whether it’s getting into her makeup, tottering around in her heels or trying on her clothes, I’m sure a lot of us have done something to be a little like mom. Victoria Beckham’s adorable seven-year-old daughter is no exception, recreating one of her mom’s most famous hairstyles.

Over the weekend, Victoria shared pictures of her daughter’s new ‘do, a cute chopped bob reminiscent of Victoria’s Spice Girls-era style. She also posted a photo of Harper with dad David Beckham with the caption, “Family time is everything @davidbeckham kisses from us all x VB.” That second picture seems like more proof that they’re living the “happy marriage, happy family” narrative they promoted in their recent British Vogue spread.

The bob isn’t the only thing Harper loves about her mom. The little girl loves the movie Spice World. (Who doesn’t?) As Victoria shared,“Spice World has been on heavy rotation this holiday!” Harper is “obsessed” with the Spice World double decker bus and loves the “little Gucci dress” scene.

I think it’s sweet that Harper is adopting mom’s look, but I’m glad she’s still smiling in photos. Don’t copy mom with that aspect of her aesthetic, Harper.

I didn’t realize that Britney Spears’ costumes for her current tour are so uncomfortable-looking. They’re also pretty budget-looking, like some really cheap lingerie got sewn together with stiff-looking pieces of plastic. Say what you will about Beyonce and Taylor Swift, but their touring costumes look A) expensive and B) comfortable. Anyway, Britney has been on her Piece of Me Tour for a few months. She performed in London at the O2 arena on Friday, and I guess Britney just loves being in Great Britain, because she immediately adopts a very hokey British accent as soon as she arrives. She even tried to use her BRIT(ney) accent on stage:

You know what I love about this? Britney isn’t doing a posh English accent, like the kind of accent I practice after I’ve binge-watched some Jane Austen miniseries adaptation. My fake British accent could cut glass! I sound like the Queen mixed with Alicia Vikander. No, Britney sounds like she’s trying to mimic the “lower class” British accent of, like, one the stars of a British reality show. Is this a Love Island accent? What is it?

Britney has a history of doing British accents for no real reason. She’s been doing it for years and no one really knows why. Maybe the explanation is just this simple: she likes to practice her fake accent and no one has told her “girl, your accent is terrible!”

When Amazon’s new series Jack Ryan was announced, I never pictured John Krasinski taking over the role previously played by Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford and Ben Affleck. However after seeing the trailer a million times (thanks a bunch, YouTube), I think he might be a good choice. The series debuts August 31.

John spoke with England’s The Independent, where he attributed the success of his thriller A Quiet Place to his wife, Emily Blunt. John revealed that he was initially “too scared” to ask his wife to be in the film, but after she got a chance to read the script, she demanded to be in the movie. Heeding to her demands, John cast her and joked, “I can’t say who, but essentially, yes – Emily had someone fired.” Emily also encouraged her husband to direct the film, recalling:

“I was originally just going to star and Emily told me I had to direct it. She knew it was a huge opportunity for me, and in the madness she just let me be myself. I honestly feel I wouldn’t have this career if I hadn’t met her, because she’s taught me so much about how to go about the business. She’s been my secret ingredient.”

And, besides garnering critical acclaim, an upcoming sequel and over $330 million in box office receipts, working on A Quiet Place also had a very special benefit for the couple, according to John.

“It without a doubt made our marriage stronger. I think we were both surprised by that. Not that I thought it would get worse but we were much more in love after the movie. We leaned on each other in a way we never had.”

This isn’t the first time John has sung his wife’s praises. It’s pretty much a regular occurrence and I think it’s really sweet. I’m very curious to see what happens with the Quiet Place sequel (as I didn’t honestly think it needed one in the first place) and I am also interested in seeing how John fares as an action hero in Jack Ryan. Whatever he does in the future, he definitely needs to continue listening to Emily.

April Love Geary Receives Harsh Criticism For Expecting So Soon After the Birth of Her Daughter

As reported earlier this week, singer Robin Thicke‘s girlfriend is expecting the couple’s second child together. The model and her beau welcomed their daughter Mia just 6-months ago. The new mother made the announcement on Wednesday via Instagram that their daughter Mia would soon be a big sister.

But after revealing the happy news April Love Geary, 23, received major backlash from online trolls. The mommy-shaming began, people leaving hateful comments on April’s post. Geary was not only attacked for having a baby so close to her first but was under fire for not being married to her boyfriend Robin Thicke, 41, this far into the game.

One person wrote, “Didn’t your doctor tell you, your body needs time to recover? You ruined the best years of your life.” Another bully who got the model’s age wrong judged her for “being only 21 and having no goals other than being pregnant TWICE in the same year.” While a third person chimed in saying she should have given her “body time to heal.”

April also got heat for having kids out of wedlock. One person left a comment, “Yes. Celebrate the fact that you’re having another child with your boyfriend. You losers should get married.”

The new mother didn’t sit back, Geary set the record straight to her haters writing, “Why are women so obsessed with telling me I need a ring? Getting married is the easy part, seeing how you are together AFTER having the babies is the hard part,” she wrote on Tuesday, August 21. “We’re in 2018. Not the 1950’s. Women don’t NEED to get married before having babies. Ya’ll need to chill.”

And that wasn’t the only record April set straight yesterday. The expectant mama confirmed that she and Robin were not trying to conceive so soon after their daughter Mia.

In fact, the new mother was on birth control when she found out she was expecting.

April conducted a Q&A on her Instagram Story on Wednesday and revealed when asked if her second pregnancy was planned she replied, “Nope!!! I started birth control and one morning I woke up nauseous.”

Geary also admitted that her reaction when she found out she was pregnant again was, “Holy s—t!! My doctor is amazing and says everything looks perfect right now,” she wrote. “I wanted to have them be close in age but it just happened to be very close in age haha.”

Senator John McCain has passed away. On Friday, he and his family had just announced that he would no longer be seeking treatment for his brain cancer, and I honestly thought we would have more time to prepare ourselves, but we did not. Not even 48 hours after the announcement of McCain’s discontinued treatment, he passed away. McCain’s tragic history of cancer had been well-documented – he had multiple bouts of skin cancer, and he was diagnosed with brain cancer last year. He had not even been in Washington this year – he had been home with his family since December. He was 81 years old and he leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Cindy McCain, and seven children.

McCain was a Navy pilot during the Vietnam War, and he was captured in 1967 and held in the “Hanoi Hilton,” Hoa Lo prison, until 1973. When he returned to America, he worked on Capitol Hill as a Senate aide, then he served two terms as a congressman from Arizona (1982-86), and then he was elected to serve as senator in 1986. In the Senate, he was known for being a curmudgeon, for putting country above party, and for his friendships on both sides of the aisle. He was particularly good friends with Democrats like Joe Lieberman, Joe Biden and Ted Kennedy. He ran for president twice, in 2000 and 2008. He was defeated in the 2000 GOP primary by George W. Bush and he was defeated in the 2008 election by Barack Obama. He apparently asked both Bush and Obama to speak at his funeral. Apparently he also requested that Donald Trump not even be invited to his funeral. One final “F–k you.” I love it.

We’ll be seeing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a lot in the next few weeks. They announced three new engagements, and on August 29th (Wednesday), they’ll be stepping out for a gala performance of Hamilton. It should be great, because we haven’t seen them in a few weeks. Despite the claims that Meghan has been traveling solo to Canada or LA, it seems like their travel plans for August were pretty low-key – they spent less than a week in Scotland, and maybe one full week (or less) in Como, Italy, with the Clooneys. The rest of the time, Meghan and Harry have been quietly relaxing in the Cotswolds. Before the wedding, they took a long-term rental on a nice little country home. And while they’re chilling out in Cotswolds, they’ve apparently welcomed a new member to their little family unit. Guy Markle-Wales-Sussex has a new brother or sister.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a new addition: a pup to share their lives, PEOPLE has confirmed. The couple got the dog — believed to be a Labrador — in early summer, and the pooch has been joining them at their country getaway in the Cotswolds area and Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace in London, a source says.

Harry and Meghan’s new best friend will be a welcome addition to their rural walks. Dog lover Meghan, 37, had to leave one of her pets, Bogart, behind when she arrived in London from Toronto last November, when the couple got engaged. The rescue dog, a companion for Meghan’s Beagle Guy, was given to friends. Guy, meanwhile, has been embedded into Meghan’s new royal life, and was at her feet as she sat for her hair and makeup on her wedding morning.

Harry has wanted a fur-baby for years and years. Before he met Meghan, it was widely reported that he was asking William, Kate and his dad to all get him a puppy for his birthday. I guess he decided to wait until he had a wife and they could adopt a puppy together. I wish them well – to think, I actually considered getting a puppy too. I ended up adopting a little kitten and this a–hole is the complete boss of me. It would have been so much worse if I had gotten a puppy. They were smart to get a puppy over the summer, when they would have more time to train him and spend time with him too. I say “him” – we don’t know. It could be a girl dog. All I want to know is the dog’s name! Please just let me believe that finally, we got a T’Challa in the royal family. T’Challa Sussex, welcome home.

On first glance, I was not in love with the black catsuit Serena Williams wore to the French Open this year. It was her first appearance at one of the majors since the 2017 Australian Open (which she won), and Serena had been through a lot physically and emotionally with her pregnancy, Olympia’s birth and trying to make some kind of comeback. Serena explained the catsuit as being “Wakanda-inspired” and she kept talking about how it made her feel powerful. I grew to love the catsuit when I learned that it was specially designed for the blood circulation in Serena’s legs, since she has a history of major clotting issues. The catsuit was about more than “a look” – its functionality and medical necessity made it more than a mere fashion choice. Well, the president of the French Tennis Federation has a problem with all of that. He’s decided to introduce a dress code at the French Open, and he sounds like a major bitch.

Serena Williams won the 2017 Australian Open when she was nearly two months pregnant, and she gave birth to a daughter last year. But the birth was followed by a six-day medical crisis in which Williams suffered blood clots in her lungs, and she says she nearly died. So like any good superhero costume, Williams’ black Nike catsuit was functional.

“I’ve had a lot of problems with my blood clots, God I don’t know how many I’ve had in the past 12 months,” she said at the May news conference. “I’ve been wearing pants in general a lot when I play so I can keep the blood circulation going.”

But in an interview with Tennis magazine, French Tennis Federation President Bernard Giudicelli reportedly said the tournament would be introducing a dress code.

“I think that sometimes we’ve gone too far. Serena’s outfit this year, for example, would no longer be accepted. One must respect the game and the place.”

If it sounds like a prissy old white dude is getting his panties in a bunch about a catsuit, that’s exactly what’s happening. I’m really bothered by the way he casually believes it’s 100% okay for him to police a black woman’s body like this. And the fact that the catsuit had a true function and medical necessity makes it that much worse.

For what it’s worth, Serena was doing press ahead of the US Open this weekend and she was asked about Giudicelli’s comments. She downplayed the whole thing, saying: “I think that obviously, the Grand Slams have a right to do what they want to do. I feel like if and when, or if they know that some things are for health reasons, then there’s no way that they wouldn’t be okay with it. So I think it’s fine. The president of the French Federation, he’s been really amazing. He’s been so easy to talk to. My whole team is basically French, so, yeah, we have a wonderful relationship.” This is the polite version of Serena pulling rank and telling the French Federation that she’s going to wear whatever she needs to wear for medical purposes and if they don’t like it, they can kiss her ass.

Tennis peeps were mad though. Nike, Billie Jean King and Andy Roddick (who is honestly one of Serena’s biggest cheerleaders) all had sh-t to say.

I predicted this. In early February, Miranda Lambert met Evan Felker, the lead singer of the Turnpike Troubadours. Felker was married – happily – to Staci Felker at the time. Within days (literally) of meeting Miranda, Evan ghosted his wife, filed for divorce and began dating Miranda officially. After months of drama, Staci and Evan’s divorce was finalized just days ago. And it seems like Miranda is already over it now that Evan is officially single. I told Miranda is a drama queen and she just wanted to “hunt” of seeking out a married man and destroying his marriage. She even enjoyed stalking Staci Felker too. But now that the Felkers’ marriage is through, so are Evan and Miranda.

Miranda Lambert and Evan Felker have split after dating since early February. PEOPLE confirms Felker’s band, the Turnpike Troubadours, dropped out of their final performances of Lambert’s The Bandwagon Tour. The country star, 34, revealed she is “happily single” in a recent interview with The Tennessean.

“Love is a hard road sometimes and it’s been a roller-coaster ride for me, but I’m definitely thankful for all the ups and downs because I’ve had some really good songs come out of it,” Lambert said. “You’ve got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts.”

What was the chain of events? My theory – and this really is just a theory – is that Evan was never really over his wife, and he saw pretty quickly that Miranda is a pretty awful person. There’s something not-right in her head. So Evan kept calling Staci, even as they were getting a divorce, and he just kept trying to make sure that Staci would stick around. Miranda caught wind of it – because duh, she’s a stalker – and she followed through on the threats she reportedly made to Evan. She dumped him and kicked his band off her tour as revenge. That’s my guess. Of course there are other options, like maybe Evan – gulp – dumped Miranda. Will we ever know for sure?

Carrie Underwood is expecting her second child with husband Mike Fisher and she is looking amazing. Taste of Country shared that Carrie just joined Keith Urban on stage and showed off her baby bump. The fans love getting to see her bump and see how great she can still perform while she is pregnant. Carrie hasn’t been out on tour lately after taking a hard fall that she ended up having to have plastic surgery done because of and then revealing that she was expecting another baby.

On Friday night, Keith Urban was in concert in Nashville when Carrie got on stage with him. She joined him for the song The Fighter which is a huge hit that these two recorded together. It was on his album Ripcord which came out in 2016. Carrie surprised the fans at the concert because they had no idea that she was coming. It looked like Keith knew she was coming, but the fans didn’t expect it at all. This was the perfect surprise for the concert.

Carrie Underwood’s baby bump is pretty big, which had some fans wondering if she is due to have her baby sooner than they realized. She looked great in black that didn’t hide her bump at all. It was great that now that Carrie has told the world a baby is on the way she can show off her bump instead of having to keep it in hiding.

She will be going out on tour in 2019. It turns out that Runaway June is hoping that they may end up getting to babysit for her a bit while they are on tour. It should be a fantastic tour and the tickets are already starting to go on sale even though some shows are over a year away. Carrie Underwood’s new tour is called the Cry Pretty Tour 360.
