I can’t remember a time when everything exploded so spectacularly on a Friday evening. Like, important news stories and interesting celebrity stories sometimes break on a Friday, but what happened yesterday was something else entirely. Washington Post reporter David Fahrenthold – who has been doing amazing reporting on Donald Trump’s sham foundation – broke the story and scooped everyone, including Access Hollywood, and it was Access Hollywood’s tape! The basic story is that in 2005, Donald Trump took a ride in Access Hollywood’s bus with Billy Bush. They were filming a bit ahead of Trump’s cameo appearance on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. It seems that Bush and Trump either forgot they were mic’d or they didn’t care, but their conversation in the bus was recorded and was released yesterday evening. The video is below. At the beginning, the “her” Trump is referring to is Nancy O’Dell, who was married at the time. He says:

“I moved on her actually. You know she was down in Palm Beach, I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it…I did try and f–k her, she was married… Nancy, no this was, and I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, ‘I’ll show you where they have some nice furniture.’ I took her out, furniture, I moved on her like a bitch. But I couldn’t get there — and she was married. And all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony t-ts, she’s totally changed her look.”

Keep in mind that not only was O’Dell married, but Donald had just married Melania as well, and many believe this was recorded when Melania was pregnant with Barron. Also keep in mind that Trump tried to fire O’Dell two years later because A) she was pregnant and B) she did not succumb to his advances. After this part about Nancy O’Dell, both Bush and Trump see Days star Arianne Zucker, who is waiting to escort Trump to the set. This is where it goes from disgusting to absolutely deplorable.

Bush: “Your girl’s hot as s—, in the purple.”
Trump: “Whoa!” [laughing] “Whoa! I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her. You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything.”
Unidentified voice, possibly Bush: “Whatever you want.”
Trump: “Grab them by the p-ssy. You can do anything.”

I actually gasped when I first saw this. Deplorable doesn’t even cover it. He’s making an admission of sexual assault. And what comes after this, with Billy Bush basically ordering Arianne Zucker to hug Trump after their conversation is just… disgusting. Appalling. This is the video evidence that rape culture exists.

Trump’s first defense was to offer a non-apology and blame Bill Clinton, because of course. Trump issued a statement saying: “This was locker room banter, a private conversation that took place many years ago. Bill Clinton has said far worse to me on the golf course — not even close. I apologize if anyone was offended.” Locker room banter = admitting to sexually assaulting women. Then when so many Republicans were turning on him last night, Trump released this video:

In the wake of all of this, a million things have happened. Billy Bush apologized (but he’ll likely keep his job with NBC). Paul Ryan disinvited Trump from a rally today in Wisconsin. Jeb Bush, Mitt Romney, Mitch McConnell and more issued statements about how reprehensible these comments are, because I guess no one in the GOP had an issue with what Donald Trump has been saying for YEARS before now? Online and on TV, we’re finally having a national conversation about rape culture. I also think there’s a good chance that Trump will pull out of tomorrow’s debate, but as of right now, he’s still in.

There have actually been meetings between GOP higher-ups, allegedly about whether there’s some way to pull Trump from the ticket or “force” him to resign as the nominee or something. For now, he’s sticking with it. He told the WSJ just hours ago that there’s “zero chance I’ll quit…I never, ever give up.” He also disputes the widespread reports that staffers on his campaign are leaving and that his campaign is in free-fall: “The support I’m getting is unbelievable, because Hillary Clinton is a horribly flawed candidate.” When asked specifically about his admission of sexually assaulting women because he’s famous, he said: “People get it. They get life.” This WSJ piece is worth a read because… he’s not sorry at all.

Congratulations are in order for Ashley Leggat and Jeremy Williams.

The Life with Derek star, 30, and her hockey star husband, 32, are expecting their first child in March 2017, she announced via Twitter.

“First comes [love], Then come [marriage], Then comes…” the Canadian actress captioned the cute pregnancy announcement, showcasing her munching on junk food while Williams reads books on pregnancy.

The parents-to-be were wed in Aug. 2011.

Look who’s 16!

Reality star Kate Gosselin shared birthday greetings for twin daughters Mady and Cara via Instagram Saturday.

“16 years ago, these two perfectly amazing girls were born! I’m so thankful for them each and every day! Happy 16th birthday, Mady and Cara! Can’t wait to celebrate YOU today!!!! #LoveMom #FiveMonthsOldInPic,” the proud mama, 41, captioned the throwback photo.

In August, Cara and Mady claimed that their father Jon Gosselin is not involved in their lives.

“He makes it seem like we’re being kept from him, which is insane,” Mady said of their dad. “He should maybe spend some time thinking about why we don’t want to see him, and maybe realize that if he ever does want a relationship with us, talking about us on TV is not the way to make that happen. He doesn’t even know us. How can he dare to talk about us?”

Then in September, Kate – who is also mom to 12-year-old sextuplets Aaden, Alexis, Collin, Hannah, Leah and Joel – confirmed they are returning to the small screen in TLC’s Kate Plus 8 in January 2017.

The hit TLC show – previously known as Jon & Kate Plus 8 – chronicles Kate’s life with her eight children. The series was renamed in 2010 following Kate and Jon’s divorce.

Academy Award-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones shared a family photo via Instagram Friday night.

“So excited. Tickets ready. A Friday night with Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones!!! Can’t breathe with excitement!!! A #DesertTrip of a lifetime!” the Chicago star, 47, captioned the image with husband Michael Douglas and their son Dylan, 16, and daughter Carys, 13, on their way to see the star-studded festival Desert Trip in Indio, Calif.

The classic-rock festival – which takes place Oct. 7-9 and 14-16 – stars Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and Neil Young.

“At the show tonight with my darling daughter Carys. #DesertTrip,” the proud mama captioned the selfie with her teenager.

The Legend of Zorro actress and the Wall Street star, 72, were wed in Nov. 2000.

Bad Moms star Kristen Bell covers the November issue of Parents and opens up about family life with husband, Parenthood star Dax Shepard, and their two daughters: Lincoln, 3½, and Delta, nearly 2.

On teaching her daughters to be charitable: “The way I see it, we are all on Team Human, and I tell my kids that the world is just our extended family. When I bring my girls along with me to volunteer and try to teach them to share toys with each other, I want them to learn that it’s not just about sharing stuff, it’s the sharing of experiences. I don’t want my kids to be afraid to part with their things, as they’re just that — things.”

On teaching her daughters about what matters in life: “My wish is that my kids are able to discern between what’s disposable in life and what’s not. Material items can go, but acts of kindness, love and giving must stay. Those are the true things that make us who we are.”

On their “one in, one out” rule: “The mom said her daughter had a toy giraffe at home and since she was learning the concept of giving, she’d like to give it to my daughter. We exchanged addresses and the following week we got this little stuffed giraffe in the mail. Now we have a ‘one in, one out’ rule. If we bring home a new puzzle, my toddler had to give an old one away, and she’s pretty good at this, despite how young she is.”

Congratulations are in order for Candice Swanepoel and Hermann Nicoli.

The Victoria’s Secret model, 27, and her model fiancé, 34, welcomed their first child – son Anacã – Swanepoel’s photographer friend Jerome Duran announced via Instagram Friday.

“THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MAMA Congratulations!!@angelcandices @hermannicoli Welcome Anacã!!! Already sooo much LOVE for you and the new family,” he captioned an image of the model cradling her bare baby bump.

In August, the South African beauty celebrated a safari-themed baby shower. At that time, her son’s name was first revealed.

While the new parents have been together for more than a decade, Nicoli proposed in August 2015.

They announced their pregnancy news in March.
