Congratulations are in order for Steven Yeun and Joana Pak.
The Walking Dead star, 32, and his newlywed wife are expecting their first child together, Us reports.
Click here to see a photo of the newlyweds dining at the Alcove in Los Angeles, Calif. on Monday (December 5). Can you spot Joana’s growing baby bump?
The couple’s outing — and their exciting baby news — comes just days after they were wed in L.A. on Saturday (December 3).
Yeun and the professional photographer said their vows in front of family and friends at L.A.’s historic Paramour Estate. Many of Yeun’s TWD costars, including Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln, Melissa McBride, Sarah Wayne Callies, Chandler Riggs, Emma Bell and Alanna Masterson, were in attendance.
Congratulations to the Yeun-Pak family!

Tim Roth is a treasure. I used to be so obsessed with him as an actor, mostly because of my obsession with Quentin Tarantino’s films. Roth is one of Tarantino’s favorite actors, and those are probably Roth’s most famous roles (Mr. Orange in Reservoir Dogs, Pumpkin in Pulp Fiction, Oswaldo in The Hateful Eight), although Roth’s filmography is extensive. He’s been a working character actor for decades, and he’s pretty much capable of anything, although he’s often typecast as the bad guy. He’s English, but many people think he’s American because he’s worked so much in America and he lives in California with his family now. Anyway, Roth is promoting something (he’s got like seven projects coming out), and he chatted with The Guardian about life and politics. Remember, he’s been living in America for years. So he paid attention to the election. And he has many thoughts. Let me just say: this interview is an absolute delight!
He hates Trump: “I hate Trump. I hate everything that he stands for. He should never be forgotten or forgiven for anything he said on the road to the White House. There should be no concession to him. No ‘Let’s give him a chance’. None of it. ‘Grab them by the p-ssy,’ right? Look at where we are now and who is in charge of this country and, by extension, a good chunk of the world – someone with misogynistic tendencies.” Roth rooted first for Bernie Sanders, then Hillary Clinton (although, as a non-citizen, he could not vote). He says he predicted a Trump victory early on. “If you neglect the working class for so f–king long they will rebel against you. There was a dire need to stop a rise of fascism in America and we didn’t take it seriously enough.”
He think Great Britain is going down a dark path too: “I like working there, but I’m done living there. I fell out of love with it. I think the tabloid sensationalism world of it just became too overwhelming for me. It’s here, too, but you don’t notice it so much. And now with Brexit … I don’t know what to make of it all. Strange thing. It’s been taken over. It’s The X Factor, Murdoch, Rebekah Brooks, Tony Blair nature of it all.” He fancies Jeremy Corbyn, who may peel off his usual vote for the Greens, but he plans to remain in the US, even though he cannot vote here. “I can handle this a bit better, weirdly. There are a lot more lefties out here.”
He was part of the working-class actor wave: “It was an extraordinary thing … none were toffs.” They thrived, but the gates seemed to shut behind them. The wealthy and middle class now dominate Britain’s creative industries. “Rich people have a safety net … so they can afford to fail, they can afford to be unemployed, which is most of what you are when you’re an actor. I’m not sure it’s about the toffs so much as cost. You’re in debt for f–king life if you want to go to drama school. The government isn’t going to support you any more; that’s all over. There are no grants.”
He likes everyone, will work with anyone: “My father-in-law is a Republican. He’s one of the most decent men I’ve ever met. He’s a good human being. I work with Scientologists; it doesn’t matter to me. I work with Catholics; Jesus, figure that one out. If people are good, they’re good. If they have different political convictions, it’s irrelevant, unless they’re harmful. If they can bend a bit … I think you’re all right.”
He doesn’t believe in being beautiful: “You want to have real men, not fake men … none of that gym culture.” He pities hostages to six-pack tyranny. “If beauty is your worth, or that version of beauty is what you’re paid for, you have to keep that f–king up.” Ryan Gosling, for one, is too savvy to be trapped, he says. “He’s used it well and will absolutely escape that nonsense. Fortunately, I make a living not out of that.”
[From The Guardian]
He also says that he doesn’t care about the critics, but he loves chatting with the guys who work at his local supermarket in LA, and that the grocery guys tell him what they think of his movies and he enjoys the chat. Which… I don’t know, I actually believe that. I believe Tim Roth, character actor extraordinaire, goes to his local Whole Foods and does the weekly shopping, and chats with the cashiers, produce guys and shelf-stockers. As for what he says about politics… yeah, all of that. I would pay to watch Tim Roth and Michael Shannon sit on stage for two hours and talk about politics. That would be money well-spent.

Christie Brinkley’s youngest daughter, Sailor, 18, predictably works as a model but is also in her freshman year at Parson’s School of Design in New York City. She’s from Christie’s last and fourth marriage, to architect Peter Cook, which ended in a high profile divorce in 2008. Sailor may be an Instamodel and the beneficiary of nepotism, but she seems to have a decent head on her shoulders. Earlier this week she instagtammed a photo of the Victoria’s Secret fashion models with a caption encouraging women watching the fashion show not to compare themselves. She didn’t put anyone down and appreciated the VS ladies while saying that we should love ourselves too, it was nice.
These girls are such beautiful boss hard working strong determined women…. But to all the young girls watching tonight… don’t forget that if your body doesn’t look like theirs it is totally OK. No body type is superior to another. Every body is different and each and every one of those body’s [sic] are beautiful and strong and important and worthy of great things. Don’t freak out if your stomach doesn’t look like theirs. Don’t hate yourself for your thighs. Embrace your body type, work hard, set goals, be healthy and constantly remind yourself that you are good enough! VS is a celebration of women and awesome beauty. And comparison to anyone is never healthy! Don’t turn this fashion show into something negative. ?? Congrats to the VS angels on tonights show! I’ve seen how dedicated these girls are and you all really do kick ass on and off the runway. ??? so much respect for you guys and everyone at VS!

Yes this is somewhat bland and overdone but I also appreciate the message, which is very similar to something Orange is The New Black Star Danielle Brooks said last week – love yourself, love your body and keep working on you, for you. So many body positive messages focus on “you’re fine, you’re perfect” but what about “you do you and continue kicking butt”? I like the message of not comparing ourselves to these women – this is their full time job! – but that doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate their beauty and our own, and know that we each have our own struggles and triumphs which don’t always show in our physical selves. That said, I hope Sailor finishes college and doesn’t become a model, but her Instagram is filled with bikini pics like a lot of young women her age. No judgment, I’m just saying.

Well, that was quick. Hot on the heels of her breakup with James Packer, Mariah Carey has moved on with a new man. The 46-year-old diva, whose new “don’t call it a” reality show, Mariah’s World debuted on E! on Sunday night, has been romantically linked with 33-year-old Bryan Tanaka. Bryan was one of the dancers on Mariah’s recent “Sweet Sweet Fantasy Tour,” the machinations of which make up one of the storylines of the new series.
Mariah and Bryan have known each other for over a decade, and have been known to grab a bite out to eat on occasion over the years. Oh, and there was that time in May when Mariah performed a risqué lap dance for Bryan during one of her concerts in South Africa. This occurred, mind you, after a jealous James got into an altercation with Bryan at one of Mariah’s gigs. And now, it appears that the two are an item.
The pair chatted with E! on the red carpet at the premiere party for Mariah’s World at Catch NYC on Sunday night. Bryan is definitely head over heels for her, confessing, “I’ve always had a thing for Mariah. I love her so much.” He added, “Something connected with us back in the day and there was just a mutual admiration. She saw something in me that I actually didn’t recognize at first, from that it was over. It was set in history that we were gonna be connected some way, some how.”
Bryan has already popped up in Mariah’s World. In the trailer for the season, Bryan seems to be in close proximity of Mariah a lot, leading her staffers to discuss Bryan’s “crush,” musing, “What are we going to do with him?” The choreographer teased that viewers might be able to see the romance blossoming between the pair on upcoming episodes of the show, telling E!, “Just make sure you tune in to the show and you’ll see kind of how everything happens.”
Mariah was also asked if viewers would see Cupid’s arrow strike, but she was slightly more evasive, saying, “I don’t know. We’ll have to wait and see.” She did admit that it was good to umm…work…with Bryan again, stating, “It’s really nice, especially when you’ve worked with somebody in the past and then you get to work with them again and just see how everybody’s grown creatively and all that.” Of course, you KNOW this relationship is going to be a part of the show. It seems a little too scripted for my taste. It sure as hell is no Rock of Love (R.I.P.)
On Monday night, the couple were witnessed holding hands and making goo-goo eyes at each other on stage for the opening night of her “Mariah Carey: All I Want For Christmas Is You” shows at New York’s Beacon Theatre. The couple also managed to get some quality time in together during Mariah’s shows in Hawaii. An eyewitness told US Magazine that they were doing more than reviewing choreography, noting, “They were all over each other, making out and not wanting to be more than a few feet apart.” Ahh, true, possibly manufactured for a reality show, love.
What’s up with these divas hooking up with their dancers? Mariah is hardly a trendsetter in this category, with Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears and even Prince having “gone there” before she did. I guess it’s just like any other workplace romance, and Mariah’s the boss, so if things go south, Bryan will get his pink slip. And, as Celebitchy’s resident “recovering cougar,” I am keeping completely mum about the age difference between these two. Can we all agree that it really doesn’t matter much any more? More importantly, do you think this relationship is for real, or for ratings?

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were out and about last night in London. They attended the Royal Variety Performance, which is an annual event in which mostly British acts – musical, comedic, and more – perform a one-night-only event before an audience which includes at least a few royal guests, military personnel, other celebrities and more. It always seems like such a fun event, and it bugs me that the royals treat the Royal Variety Performance like it’s a chore to attend. Charles and Camilla have gotten the gig many times in the past decade, and for what it’s worth, they always seem pleased to be there. I’m reminded of the fact that when people meet Camilla one-on-one, they always say that she’s really funny, witty, charming and authentic.
For the event, Camilla chose to wear this red, embroidered lace gown, which is possibly by Bruce Oldfield (one of her go-to designers), although no one has gotten a confirmation on that. You guys know how I feel about lace dresses: for the most part, I really don’t like them. And I think you’re asking for trouble if you wear a full-length lace gown, nevermind a lace gown with a full skirt! It’s Peak Doily. I will say this though: the red is lovely on Camilla, and I think I might have liked this more if the bottom half “matched” the top half a little bit more. Camilla paired the gown with her famous Pear Drop Diamond Demi-Parure, widely believed to be a wedding gift from Charles in 2005. He reportedly bought a tiara and had the diamonds taken out and made into the necklace and earrings. You can read more about the necklace here.
Guess who performed at this year’s Royal Variety? Lady Gaga. She got to meet Charles and Camilla after the show, and Camilla told her, “My grandchildren call me Gaga.” At first I was like, “That’s surprisingly hip,” but I think she just means it’s a baby-talk version of “grandma.” Like, Gan-Gan, only Gaga. Also… looking at these photos of Gaga, I’m struck by how g—damn different she looks. Oh, well.

Jimmy Kimmel is going to have a big year in 2017. As his talk show continues to hit solidly in the ratings, he just announced that he would be hosting the Oscars on February 26th:
Yes, I am hosting the Oscars. This is not a prank. And if it is, my revenge on @TheAcademy will be terrible & sweet. Thx to @alsformalwear
— Jimmy Kimmel (@jimmykimmel) December 5, 2016
Kimmel has hosted the American Music Awards many times and hosted this year’s Emmy’s to good reviews. I thought he was fine on the Emmy’s. His going after Maggie Smith (and her subsequent retort) was great. But let’s face it – Kimmel is a safe choice. His show is on ABC as is the Oscar’s broadcast. The Oscars are under a great deal of scrutiny after last year’s #OscarSoWhite controversy. As a result, they opened their membership up to increase diveristy while asking a few of the entrenched members to take a back seat. With all of the focus on whether the Oscars can pull themselves into a 21st Century mindset, I can understand why they would go with a safe host. I like Kimmel. He’s still making fun of people, just doing so in a subtler way that doesn’t come across as an attack (with the exception of Matt Damon, of course). Personally, I would prefer to see safe comics doing mild jokes than edgy comics forced to restrain themselves. Plus, celebrities love Kimmel and will do anything for him. For example, he just reteamed with Bono for the second annual RED Shopathon and was able to get a lot of celebrities to act silly. Plus it gave me my new song for the holidays We’re Going to Hell.
His other big news was that his wife, Molly McNearney, is pregnant with their second child. Here is Jimmy making both announcements on his show:
See? He can be tame and funny. Molly and Kimmel are parents to two-year old Jane. I could not imagine having a baby at my age, let alone at 49 like Kimmel. Even with extra help, kids and trying to keep up with their worlds are just exhausting. However, obviously they are very excited so congratulations to them. Molly is 38, which is how old I was when I had my second (still exhausting, though.) In the video, Kimmel refers to the ultrasound as spying on the kid. I like that and intend to use it to invade my kids’ privacy from here on out, “Hey, you weren’t complaining before so why make a fuss now?”
Lawd but Jane is adorable – I get why they want to make more.
last minute #Emmys punch up with my best joke writer
