So many of you are counting down the days until Crimson Peak is released (in October). I’m not one of you. While I like Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska, I’m a big ol’ scaredy cat when it comes to intense horror stories like this. If there’s a ghostly apparition or a painting of a child that suddenly comes to life, I’m out. But since Hiddles is the closest thing to crack around here, I will provide the Crimson Peak-related stuff. On Tuesday, they released new production stills and an “interactive” (video) poster. So scary. I can’t even. Although I did enjoy the voice p0rn from Tom Hiddleston. He has a great voice and I never realized how menacing it could be. Weird, right? And that part where he’s climbing on top of her? Crap, I’m probably going to have to see this. Damn it! I’m going to have nightmares for weeks but it will be worth it if Tommy is The (Dangerous/Horrific) Sex.

Last fall, I mentioned a story about Creed’s lead mulleted singer, Scott Stapp, being down and out in a Holiday Inn. Dude was in a bad state after his wife of 8 years, Jaclyn, filed for divorce. She claimed that Scott was dangerous to their children, as he was taking meth and behaving erratically. Jaclyn also released some of Scott’s text messages about government conspiracies, biological weapons, and Satan. He threatened to find Jaclyn and the children and show “no mercy.”

The Holiday Inn episode was rock bottom for Stapp, who somehow managed to find help before hurting anyone. He entered a dual diagnostic facility, which was able to treat his substance abuse issues (both drugs and alcohol). The facility also diagnosed him with bipolar disorder, which came as a huge surprise to Stapp. He initially had trouble with processing his diagnosis because “there’s a stigma associated with it.” Eventually, he realized that he finally had an answer and felt relief. Stapp spoke with People:

Scott Stapp knows that he’s a blessed man.

Sitting with People in the living room of his Florida home, the Creed frontman is candid as he talks about the hellish events of the past year.

“I’m lucky to be alive,” he says about his ordeal. Stapp, 41, made headlines in November when he released a disturbing video in which he rambled that he was broke and “under some kind of pretty vicious attack.”

Things took another disturbing turn when Stapp’s wife, Jaclyn, told a 911 dispatcher that Stapp believed he was part of the CIA and had made potential threats about President Obama.

And so it went for three long months, as friends and family watched Stapp unravel, his behavior becoming more and more erratic.

Now in recovery, Stapp is ready to share what happened. “I had a psychotic break that was brought on by alcohol and drug abuse,” he says. “I was hallucinating. I drove around the United States for a month, following an angel that I saw on the hood of my car.”

“In my delusional thinking, I thought my family was involved in ISIS, and that millions of dollars had been taken from me to support terrorism,” he continues. “All of it was nonsense. I was out of my mind.”

Scott seems very serious about his recovery from drug and alcohol addiction. He participates in a 12-step program and takes meds for his condition. Jaclyn decided to stay married to Scott after he received help. Of Scott’s bipolar disorder, she says, “I definitely knew there was something going on for years, but I couldn’t pinpoint what it was.” Being married to a rock star can be a wild experience under the best circumstances, but it sounds like Jaclyn really went though hell. Add the substance abuse and violent threats on top of the bipolar disorder, and the situation quickly grew volatile. Scary. I’m glad Scott pulled himself out of rock bottom and hope he continues his recovery.

Michael Fassbender is about to come to Cannes to premiere Macbeth this week, which means that we’ll have lots of Fassy photos and hopefully lots of new interviews too. Fassy’s also doing some promotional stuff for Slow West (which has a DirectTV premiere) and for Jobs, the Steve Jobs bio-pic which will be out later this year, possibly as an awards-contender. So, we’re getting some quotes here and there about several different projects. Here are some recet Fassy quotes that I found interesting:

Fassy on his Lady Macbeth, Marion Cotillard: “I can’t speak highly enough of her. For me to take it on, it was, ‘OK, Shakespeare.’ But she’s French speaking. I just thought it was incredible bravery. And she’s excellent.”

Fassy on Aaron Sorkin not knowing who he was (as revealed in the Sony Hack): “What email leaks? It’s whatever. People have opinions. The Internet is the Internet. I have a job to do, so I just get on with that.”

He based his Slow West character on a Clint Eastwood cowboy: “I hope [people see similarities], because Clint is my favorite cowboy. Obviously we had the little nod with the cigar. Well, ‘little’ — it’s quite a large nod. Clint was always in the back of my mind.”

Whether he’s ‘too serious’: “I would (expletive) hope not! I hope definitely not. I like to keep myself fairly balanced. I suppose I have a short fuse with annoying things, like threading a needle. That’s about as bad as I get. I try to put everything into my work and then enjoy my downtime with as little drama as possible.”

His privileged life: “Most people in the world do really hard jobs and they do them every day of the week. I live a pretty sort of privileged life. There’s no place for me to go, ‘Yeah, it was pretty difficult and it was psychologically wearing and blah blah blah.’ Nobody should hear that or wants to hear that.”

His future: “I don’t want to become comfortable and complacent because then there’s just no point in doing it anymore. Just trying to involve myself in more areas, I suppose. Maybe one day to get behind the camera at one point would be something I’d like to do. But whether it will ever happen is another matter. Who knows in a few years’ time where my priorities will lie?”

I like that he kind of brushes off the stuff about Aaron Sorkin – Sorkin didn’t know Fassy’s work at all last year, when they were casting the Steve Jobs bio-pic that Sorkin had written. Then, as the Sony Hack revealed, Sorkin saw Shame and suddenly Sorkin loved Fassy. So it all worked out in the end. Still, Fassy doesn’t look anything like Steve Jobs. Eh.

Also: I loved what he said about Marion Cotillard. Here’s hoping Marion can do a good Lady M!

Newlyweds Amy Adams and Darren Le Gallo stepped out for a fun day with their daughter Aviana, who turns 5 on Friday.

The American Hustle star, 40, and her husband enjoyed a day at the zoo with their only child in Los Angeles, Calif. on Tuesday (May 12).

After nearly 14 years of dating, Amy and Darren finally wed earlier this month in California.

According to E! News, the longtime lovebirds exchanged vows on May 2 in front of a small number of family and friends.

Oh, Pinocchio Butt. Never change. No, that’s not right – please change!! I’d really like to see Khloe Kardashian take out her butt implants or whatever she needs to do to de-Pinocchio her ass. This has gotten WAY out of hand. Khloe posted this Instagram yesterday, copying the poses directly from an Instagram Beyonce posted a while back. Khloe has always openly girl-crushed Beyonce, but now I think Khloe has overtaken Beyonce, Kim and everyone else for the biggest Pinocchio Butt out there. How does this even look reasonable? How is anyone even supposed to believe that she just grew this ass suddenly last year?

Khloe is currently being trained by celebrity trainer extraordinaire Gunnar Peterson. Gunnar recently told ET, “Khloe’s the animal — full on animal in the gym. No complaining, no bitching, no kvetching. Just gets after it. This is Khloe’s moment. You can see it. The changes she’s made are incredible. She’s done it the right way. Nothing fast — hard work. It’s steady, hard work and it’s very relatable and her body is banging right now.”

While I agree that Khloe looks like she’s in really great shape these days – minus the Pinocchio Butt, which is basically a plastic barnacle on a toned body – I do wonder about Khloe’s workouts. She works out constantly, and she recently posted this photo of her “waist-training” while working out. Certainly this can’t be good for you?

Legends actress Ali Larter toted her tot, daughter Vivienne, nearly 4 months, who was sitting in her car seat. The mother-daughter duo were headed into a baby class in Brentwood, Calif. on Tuesday (May 12).

Last week, the Heroes alum, 39, shared a shot of her beautiful baby girl.

The actress and her writer-comedian husband, Hayes MacArthur, welcomed their daughter on Jan. 15.

Vivienne joins the couple’s first child, son Theodore, 4.

The Cannes Film Festival starts today, so just be prepared for the next week and a half, which will be full of crazy Cannes photos. Huzzah! Ahead of the festival, Dior organized a runway show for the Dior Cruise line. The event went down on Monday at the Palais Bulle (the Bubble Palace) in Theoule sur Mer, France. Marion Cotillard, Zoe Kravitz and Dakota Fanning were just some of the fashion girls to come out for the event. But surprise, one of the most talked-about women there was little Cressida Bonas. Cressida is currently under a contract with Mulberry, and Cressy is launching herself as a “real actress” too. But it never hurts to show up to these kinds of high-profile fashion events, right? And when you get an invite from Dior, you’ve got to go. For what it’s worth, I think Cressida got one of the best dresses.

I’ve been somewhat surprised with Cressida’s staying power as a “celebrity” following her breakup with Prince Harry last year. Even though Harry has been busy this year, and even though he’s been in Australia and New Zealand for weeks, there are still ever-present rumors that Harry and Cressy will reunite, or that they’ve already reunited and they just haven’t told anyone, or that they’re friends with benefits or something.

Following Prince Harry’s “I want marriage and babies” interview on Monday, many British papers are running stories about who Harry could marry at this point. He is Britain’s most eligible bachelor, and he’s arguably one of the most eligible bachelors in the world. I tend to believe he and Cressida won’t try to have a relationship again, but what do I know? The British bookies say that Cressida is actually the best bet right now – Cressy’s getting 12/1 odds on marrying Harry, and Chelsy Davy only has 33/1 odds. Do future princesses get invited to Dior Cruise shows in the south of France?
