In a recent interview, Kristen Stewart stated her displeasure with being recognized as a celebrity.

She says that with her celebrity status it is very hard to live a private life because her fans are always trying to become a part of it. ‘Nothing about being a celebrity is desireable. I am an actor. It just astounds me that people are so obsessive. Look, I don’t want to be a superstar like Angelina Jolie’ said Stewart.

One instance that Stewart gave was one where her grandmother had questioned her about being pregnant with rumored boyfriend and Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson’s baby.

‘You guys just need to stop reading all of that stuff. You need to leave that stuff right there on the shelf. You simply cannot believe everything you read in those magazines’ added Stewart.

Getting a bit of a boost thanks to the Black Friday theater rush, “New Moon” continued its dominance by claiming another weekend atop of the box office.

Continuing along with the worldly travels, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner turned up in Mexico for a press conference on Monday (November 2).

The “Twilight” co-stars flew in after appearing in Brazil the previous day, with the Bella Swan babe and her Jacob Black press partner doing their best to boost interest in their upcoming “New Moon” movie.

Hitting theaters on November 20th, Kristen recently offered up her thoughts on co-star Robert Pattinson’s Edward Cullen role, saying, “Edward is actually a really good parallel to fame. As a vampire, he has a sad, desolate life-fame is the same.”

Meanwhile, Taylor commented on the passionate “Twilight” fans, telling, “It’s much more than just a story of vampires and werewolves. The audience end up seeing themselves in the characters.”

Showing off a brand new hair style, Kristen Stewart sported some extensions while shooting scenes for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” in Vancouver, Canada yesterday afternoon (August 28).

The brunette beauty donned jeans and t-shirt while holding a fake diploma and yellow graduation gown.

Her on-screen dad, Billy Burke, joined Ms Stewart on set and later took to his Twitter page, saying, “Just got to hotel in Vancouver. Start tmorow early. Someone gets a cap and gown. G’nite for now.”

In her upcoming film, “Welcome to the Rileys,” she plays a troubled young woman who makes a living as a lap dancer and prostitute. The film is directed by James Gandolfini, and has her walking around naked in many scenes.

While she’s currently up north in Canada working on the “Twilight” saga’s third installment, Kristen Stewart recently chatted with MTV News about working on “New Moon”.

Due out on November 20th, the Bella Swan sweetheart admits that the much-anticipated “Twilight” sequel was difficult to film.

She says, “[It] is the one book in the series that I was intimidated by – in a good way. That’s the best feeling to start a movie with. But probably, my favorite line in the book is when I have to say to [Jacob], ‘It’s him; it’s always been him!’ Like, I have to say that. Yeah, it killed me, it killed me.”

Continuing to dish about her “New Moon” role, Miss Stewart adds, “Just like everything in our movie, it’s such a heightened version of reality. It’s like, people don’t just break up [in the “Twilight” films] – they break up and it literally kills you. It’s not like you just say, ‘Oh, I’m really depressed and crying.’ Everything is supposed to be a fantasy version of that. So I always had a really hard time figuring out, ‘Am I doing enough? Do I look like I’m going to die?'”

Tirelessly working on her new film “The Runaways,” Kristen Stewart was spotted on the Los Angeles afternoon (July 30).

The “New Moon” hottie, who plays rocker Joan Jett in the movie,” looked rough and tough in a black leather jacket with a white midriff-bearing shirt, black trousers and black Converse All-Stars.

In related news, it seems Miss Stewart made the mistake of drinking a Heineken beer during a recent wrap party, and the video has made its way onto the internet (and has since been removed). The 19-year-old wouldn’t have a problem if the party was in Canada, but unfortunately she was on US soil.

Gossip monger Perez Hilton commented, “It’s a good thing K-Stew is not a role model! She’s not, right??? P.S. Stewart also didn’t buckle up in the car after they drove off at the very end of the video.”

Still plugging away on her latest role, Kristen Stewart was joined by Joan Jett on the set of "The Runaways" in Los Angeles on Wednesday (July 8).

The "Twilight" cutie was dressed up in a white t-shirt and jeans, filming her portrayal of the rocker in the new biopic flick while getting a few pointers along the way.

Meanwhile, recent reports tell that Kristen was given a pair of Joan’s old shoes as part of her costume, with an insider telling press: "Joan actually used to wear them back in the 70s. She thought wearing them would help with the movie’s authenticity."

Talking about portraying Miss Jett, Kristen said, "I’m trying to just make myself aware of the time period and what she was going through. So many people know her as just being like one of the coolest people to ever live. That in itself is one of the most intimidating things that I’ve ever had to confront but she’s so cool too."

Twilight star Kristen Stewart will share a same-sex smooch with child star Dakota Fanning as the two share the scene in the upcoming biopic The Runaways.

The movie follows the life of 70s all-girl punk band, The Runaways.

According to Life & Style Weekly, Kristen, 19, will have a lesbian kissing scene with 15-year-old Dakota Fanning in the film.

The script reportedly calls for Kristen, who plays Joan Jett in the film, to kiss Dakota, who stars as singer Cherie Curie, resulting in their clothes being “scattered all over their hotel room floor in one scene,” dishes the tabloid tattle.

Getting her work week off to a good start, Kristen Stewart was spotted arriving at a vocal studio in Los Angeles earlier today (June 8).

The “Adventureland” hottie looked cute and casual as she strolled past the paparazzi, sporting a white Delicious Vinyl t-shirt with slim fit jeans and Converse All Stars.

And it seems Miss Stewart’s new photo shoot for Allure magazine is the talk of the town, as she showed off a bit more glamour and sex appeal than her “Twilight” gig.

Kristen donned a sultry combo of black leather and denim for the photos, taken at the Santa Monica Pier last week.  The spread will appear in an upcoming issue of Allure.
