American singer-actress Jessica Simpson really wants to become a mother, according to her sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

Simpson, who recently rekindled romance with ex-beau John Mayer, dotes on nephew Bronx, her sibling’s son with rocker Pete Wentz, reports contactmusic.com.

She was forced to deny reports she was pregnant earlier this year but Simpson-Wentz reveals her older sister is getting broody.

‘She’s always saying, ‘Oh, I want a baby’,’ said Simpson-Wentz.

Currently without a boyfriend to keep her company, Jessica Simpson recruited her BFF stylist Ken Paves to accompany her on a flight out of LAX Airport on Monday afternoon (August 31).

The “Do You Know” singer sported a long blue coat, black tights, and baby blue heels as she offered up a big smile while passing through the departures terminal.

On the career front, Miss Simpson’s rep recently denied claims that Jess was lined up as a possible replacement on “American Idol” for Paula Abdul, telling press, “There’s no truth [to the story]. No one reached out to the show.”

And while “Idol” appears out of the question, the 29-year-old is currently set to star in her own VH1 series called “The Price of Beauty”.

Keeping busy as she tries to forget about Tony Romo,  Jessica Simpson was spotted out at a Los Angeles park on Monday (August 3).

Accompanied by stylist pal Ken Paves, the pair walked along with Ken’s three Saluki dogs while getting in a little exercise.

In related news, Miss Simpson recently opened up about her favorite bras in a new interview about her lingerie line.

“Of course I love lingerie. What girl doesn’t?” Simpson tells Women’s Wear Daily. “My lingerie reflects the way I’m feeling when I wake up and helps me set the tone for my day.”

She adds, “Lingerie is a special part of what you wear every day. It’s fun to pick different colors and styles. What you wear underneath your clothes helps define the outfit, whether T-shirt bras, push-up bras, different patterns and colors-you always have to choose what works best.”

As for her favorite undergarments, Jess tells, “I like to be comfortable and feel good. I wear whatever my mood calls for.”

Jessica Simpson doesn’t seemed phased by her ex Tony Romo publicly banning her from his house yesterday.
She was spotted hitting a party for An-Ya last night where, according to E!, an onlooker said: "She seemed really happy," and "If you didn’t already know Jessica just went through a breakup, you really would have no way of telling from the way she was behaving at the event."
And if the bash wasn’t enough to put her in a good mood, the party favor she got to take home, a $10,000 5-carat ring from jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad, probably did the trick.

Ever since she got dumped by Tony Romo the night before her 29th birthday, Jessica Simpson has been relying on her girlfriends for support and an occasional cheering up.

Over the weekend, the “Come On Over” songstress enjoyed a ladies’ night with gal pals CaCee Cobb, Adrienne Sands, and Nicole Chavez.

And it sounds like she had an amazing time, as she shared on her Twitter page, “Love my ladies!!! Wish I could be with them every day of my life. Laughter is wonderful”

Jessica also spent some quality time with her mother Tina, watching the movie version of “Great Expectations” yesterday. She tweeted, “There is no better woman in the world than my MOM.” Tina added, “Seriously.@jessicasimpson will not stop talking about everything GREEN in this movie! I may puke ‘GREEN!’ BUT I love that she sees ‘GREEN!”

They’ve been plagued with rumors of trouble in paradise for awhile now, and now it’s official: Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo have broken up.

According to an inside source, the “Come on Over” songstress and the Dallas Cowboys stud fell into a volatile cycle of lovers’ spats. "They go from one fight right into another, without a second break. It’s always something with Jessica." Another friend added, “It’s been a long time coming.”

Jessica and Tony, who began dating back in November of 2007, were always under pressure from the media, whether it was for her weight, or his poor performance on the field while she was in the stands.

Earlier this year, Jessica told press, "We don’t let it affect our relationship. If we did, we wouldn’t be together, because it happened at the very beginning. Dating the Cowboys quarterback comes with hype, the fans, the bloggers, but I’ve never dated a guy that was more simple. I’m always there for him after a game, and he knows he has me to come home to."

Both Simpson and Romo are keeping mum about the situation right now, with both sides’ reps refusing to comment.

Enjoying a relaxing evening, Jessica Simpson was spotted arriving at La Esquina restaurant in New York City for dinner last night (June 8).

The “With You” songstress looked to be in high spirits as she arrived at the high-end eatery sporting a cleavage-baring black dress with black sunglasses.

Over the weekend, Miss Simpson performed at the 18th Annual Celebrate Life with Hope Event, singing to over 2000 pediatric cancer survivors.

She told press, “To be able to give back is my sole purpose in life.” And it sounds like Jessica made quite an impression on the attendees.

One guest told press, “She was so nice and so warm.  All the kids were getting a day out and the little ones were looking up at her, it was just really touching.  She kept telling them they were her heroes.”

“At the end, she had a little meet and greet up on the stage.  The kids were just so excited to see her and give her a hug and she was so sweet with them. She was signing T-shirts and the hospital gave her a plaque. She was just really happy to be there.”

Back out for another day of business in the Big Apple, Jessica Simpson was spotted leaving her New York City hotel on Tuesday (June 9).

The country singing cutie looked a bit disheveled as she hopped in and out of her chauffeured ride – smiling for paparazzi snapping up pics at the scene.

Meanwhile, Jessica’s longtime trainer, Mike Alexander, recently chatted with FOX Pop Tarts about his client’s workout regimen, saying, “Jessica really hates squats and jumping-any type of jumping she’s not on board with. But she loves reverse lunges because it really isolates her glutes and her hamstrings.”

Explaining how to get into fine form in short periods of time, Miss Simpson’s trainer explained: “Squats and lunges are great butt exercises because you can use your own body weight and do several varieties of them. It’s the one thing that clients don’t enjoy because it’s not easy when done right, you’re working all the muscles in your legs which is far away from your heart so your heart is pumping like crazy so it elevates your heart rate and takes it out of you but its worth it in the end. Cardio is also really important when working on a short time frame and don’t focus too much on mid-section. Women tend to do this because its showing in a bikini but then neglect other parts which are just as important aesthetically-speaking. If you work your stomach too much you can build up the muscles in your abdominals and it can then appear dissented.”
