Ready to log more hours at work, Katy Perry was all smiles as she arrived at a studio in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon.
The recently engaged “I Kissed A Girl” singer strolled into the entrance, seemingly having something up her sleeve for her co-workers, as she tweeted, “YES I beat them here! Now to setting traps!”
Showing off her fabulous figure, Katy Perry was spotted making her day’s rounds in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
It looks like she can party just as well as she can sing! Over the weekend, Katy Perry had one crazy birthday fete in West Hollywood.
The “I Kissed a Girl” songstress celebrated her 25th birthday by throwing a Willy Wonka themed party complete with a big stash of 42BELOW Vodka at The Beach On Sunset and asked all of her unassuming guests to wear white.
Why white? Because Perry, accompanied by new boyfriend Russell Brand, decided to offer her guests party paint – to which they could use their imaginations, and paint whatever they wanted, including each other!
During the festivities, Katy spent part of her night out on the dance floor singing to Shakira’s “She Wolf” and dancing with a giant lollipop.
Among her party painting guests were Taylor Swift, Julianne Hough, Perez Hilton, Zachery Levi and several Oompa Loompas.
Continuing along with her UK performing duties, Katy Perry took to the 4 Music Stage at the V Festival at Hylands Park, Chelmsford on Sunday (August 23).
Always entertaining, the “I Kissed a Girl” singer reportedly suggested that all the women in attendance leave their ex-boyfriends a text naughty message during the course of the show.
Continuing on with her interaction with the concert attendees, Miss Perry then told the gals that “you have to erase that number. No more drunk-dialing it.”
Following her day’s duties onstage, Katy hit up her Twitter page, enthusiastically writing, “Now THAT was a f**kin show! Today was a cherry on top of this wonderful year, thanks Brits, you’re boss! Off to din din now. GIRL TALK!”
Excited to be in the land down under, Katy Perry put on quite the spectacular show in Brisbane, Australia on Wednesday (August 12).
The “Waking Up in Vegas” vocalist bounced around stage with her usual energy and rocked a teeny tiny dress while donning a flower in her hair.
The day before, Ms Perry stopped by an annual festival called the Queensland’s Ekka show (Ekka is short for exhibition), but due to such a crazy crowd, her security team was forced to get her out of there.
According to The Australian Newspaper, the singer wanted to ride some of the big, scary rides but the logistics were just too difficult. However, her rep did hint that she snuck back in (minus bodyguards) after her concert to hit up some rides.
Katy Perry was left shaken after a man broke into her tour bus on Thursday night.
The pop star, who is currently on a summer tour of Europe, was performing on stage in Brighton, England, when her bus was targeted by a burglar.
The thief’s efforts proved unsuccessful after local authorities caught him before he could make off with any of Katy’s belongings.
“Someone just broke into our bus, they got caught. Luckily all there is is glitter, catsuit outfits, fruit & a box set of Ab Fab. Sux fer (sic) them,” Katy wrote in a Tweet posted to her Twitter page overnight.
While she certainly doesn’t shy away from using sex appeal to boost her popularity, Katy Perry isn’t the type of girl to sleep around town.
Talking about needing to get to know someone before getting intimate, the “I Kissed a Girl” singer tells, “For me, it’s not a past time, going out and meeting people and trying to hook up with people. That actually makes me feel disgusting. From a really early age, I was really sensitive to that.”
Ms Perry continues, “Getting your flirt on is the best thing in the world, but when it comes to sharing bodily fluids with a person I don’t know – no thank you.”
As for the once-popular panty-flash routine, don’t expect Katy to take part. She tells, “Flashing your panties is just so tasteless. The way I get round that problem is I have someone standing in front of me at all times because I’m often wearing a dress.”
Sportsman David Beckham and singer Katy Perry are among the many stars featured in the new promotional TV advertisement for Adidas. In addition to them both, the 1980s-style hip-hop house party-themed ad also features the likes of Estelle, Missy Elliott, hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, band The Ting Tings, and rappers Method Man, Redman and Darryl McDaniels a.k.a. Run DMC. The ad, aimed to mark Adidas’ ‘60 Years Of Soles and Stripes’ anniversary, sees David smiling as he enters the suburban house. Inside, he is taped holding a drink and talking to Boston Celtics basketball player Kevin Garnett. Both males are seen laughing. Adidas’ 1980s-style hip-hop house party-themed ad is soundtracked to Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons’ 1967 hit “Beggin’” by DJ Pilooski. Below is the video of the ad.
