Throw away your Holiday Shopping List because THE GIFT you need to get everyone you know has just been announced. Brooklyn Beckham is releasing his first book of photography called what i see. Brooklyn, or as some of you know him “that hot soccer player’s kid,” is actually a professional photographer. He was hired by Burberry to shoot one of their fragrance campaigns. I’ll leave it to you to speculate how he got that job.

The book’s description is as follows:

WHAT I SEE, the first book by Brooklyn Beckham, is a series of snapshots of his life. Each chapter tells a different story through pictures by and of Brooklyn, accompanied by captions and passages of text in his own words. Unique, authentic and stylish, WHAT I SEE is a glimpse behind the lens.

I love that description. You know some poor copywriter spent a week trying to come up with three sentences to describe this effort. I can only imagine the cover shot inspired the “glimpse behind the lens” bit. Let’s remember that Brooklyn is 17. How many chapters does a 17-year old need to tell his story? I wouldn’t count on using this thing as a paperweight. His author page consists of only two lines with three pieces of information – his age, that he lives in London and that photography is his biggest passion. That’s all you need to land a book, folks – passion. Okay, passion and parents named Victoria and David Beckham.

Alas, we must all wait for Brooklyn’s stylish authenticity until next year. You can preorder it though! You can even get a signed copy here. Just think how excited your Nan will be when she opens a card announcing that she only has to wait five months before her Brooklyn Beckham book arrives. I imagine after taking a moment to compose herself, she’ll look up and ask, “Who?” Even though there are no hints about whether it will contain pictures of his famous family and ex, Chloë Moretz, I, for one, can’t wait. After reading reviews for his Burberry ad campaign like, “To call his photographs a bit tame is like saying a hamster is not a very fearsome animal,” I can only imagine how mesmerizing this masterpiece will be. And add passages of his own words to that? It not just what Brooklyn sees, it’s what Brooklyn says.

Don’t take my enthusiasm for it, let some of the artistically nuanced art Brooklyn has posted on his Instagram speak for itself:

Do YOU SEE? Do you see WHAT I SEE? Oh curse you May 2017! Why must you keep me in the dark for so long? Oh dear, that just reminds of more of Brooklyn’s genius:
