New Mom and social media maven Chrissy Teigen sat down on Tuesday morning and chatted with Good Morning America‘s Michael Strahan, who has obviously wasted no time after leaving Live with Michael and Kelly. The 30-year-old Mom hasn’t let motherhood, which she confesses is “really fun,” slow her down, telling Michael she “bounced right back into the stream of work.”

During the interview, Michael brought up the “Mom-bashing” Chrissy recently received online after she and husband John Legend went out to dinner without newborn daughter Luna. As you recall, Chrissy was hit with a firestorm of criticism calling her parenting into question. The comments prompted John to publicly muse about the lack of Dad-shaming on the internet. Chrissy said, “I used to read mommy blogs like crazy so I knew mommy shaming was a thing but I didn’t think it would come from going to dinner” and was glad her husband had her back.

When asked how John was as a father, she joked, “I don’t even want to say because everyone already thinks John is so perfect, so I love to kind of twist it and make sure people know that nobody is perfect, but he’s been really great.” She added that although John has been great with his daughter, especially at bath time, his musical accompaniment has been met with a less than enthusiastic reception, kidding “that’s winning no awards. We need to get him into children’s books more.”

During the segment, Chrissy also showed off her culinary skills, making a batch of John’s signature chili. She admitted that the “secret ingredient” in many of her recipes is Lawry’s Seasoned Salt. Who knew? I use that stuff all of the time. I am definitely not a chili in the summertime kind of gal (it’s a Super Bowl tradition with my group) but that chili does look pretty yummy. She lost me with the hot dog though. Gross.

Chrissy looked great during the segment. I love her in emerald green. I actually think everyone looks good in emerald green. I’m not a big fan of the ruffled top, but she pulls it off. Of course she does, she’s a model, and you can’t even tell she’s had a baby – in a pencil skirt. Well played, Chrissy. The dress is actually a custom made top and skirt from Fame and Partners. She accessorized with a silver and gold choker and metallic gold strappy heels and her slicked back hair and makeup were on point.

Speaking of looking good, Chrissy and John made quite the striking couple walking through the streets of New York on Monday with Luna in tow. Chrissy posted a pic on Instagram with the caption “Get it, dilf!” referring to her handsome hubby. Chrissy looks pretty great herself and I am having major #bootenvy.

Get it, dilf!!

I hope this interview put the Mom-shaming issue to bed for good. She and John are good parents and they have an adorable, happy baby to prove it.
