Congratulations are in order for Daniela Ruah and David Olsen.

The NCIS: Los Angeles actress, 32, and her husband welcomed their second child – daughter Sierra Esther – on Sunday (September 4), she announced via Instagram Wednesday.

“Apparently she thought Labor Day weekend meant LABOR day weekend… Look who showed up 3 weeks early! On September 4th we welcomed little Miss Sierra Esther Ruah Olsen! She entered the world in her own way- breeched! I was a good candidate to deliver her naturally so I needed to find a doctor in LA who would know how to do it. Fortunately I found one of the few… Healthy & happy mommy & baby walked out of the hospital 24hrs later. I had an OB and doula assisted birth at Cedars Sinai, and the #love and #support of my wonderful #hubby This photo is the perfect representation of everything I’ve ever wanted. #Family #ExhaustedbuthighonLife #Amothersrighttochoose #InformedBirth @binibirth,” wrote the proud mama.

Sierra Esther joins big brother River Isaac, 2½.

Prior to welcoming her daughter, Ruah opened up about her first birth and her hopes for her second delivery.

“My water broke three weeks early, and after 12 hours of labor and Pitocin, I was in incredible pain and still only one centimeter dilated. I wanted to try to do it without drugs, so the moment I requested an epidural, I was mad at myself. As soon as I got it, I dilated to 10 centimeters in 90 minutes. It was awesome,” she said of River’s birth.

She added: “This time, I’m going to try to go again without an epidural, but I won’t be mad at myself if I need one.”

It’s an Olsen baby boom! Ruah’s brother-in-law and costar, Eric Christian Olsen, and wife Sarah Wright Olsen recently welcomed daughter Esmé Olivia on Aug. 9.
