I didn’t see Live By Night (and I didn’t see The Accountant either) so while I don’t personally know whether Ben Affleck’s back was shown in either film, many people have said that his large phoenix tattoo on his back, which he claimed was “fake for a movie,” was not shown in Live by Night. As you may recall, Affleck was spotted in December, 2015 on the set of Live By Night with that large tattoo on his back. Jennifer Garner referenced it in her Vanity Fair interview by throwing the southern shade phrase “bless his heart” and saying that she refuses “to be the ashes” that the phoenix is rising from. Jennifer Lopez also made fun of the tattoo on WWHL, calling it “awful” and saying it had “too many colors.” Then, in March, Affleck claimed the tattoo was “fake for a movie,” but many questioned that after Live By Night came out and the tattoo wasn’t shown. It was always possible that the tattoo was planned in a scene and that they didn’t use it for some reason. Affleck was photographed this week with his shirt riding up and the thing is visible again. So liar liar phoenix on fire? The Boston Globe, his hometown paper, is calling him out on it.

The Globe published this photo of Affleck’s tattoo, it was taken on Sunday outside of church, and for a fake tattoo it’s stuck around for over a year.

So Affleck was busted fibbing about his tattoo. Why didn’t he just admit that it was real when he was asked? Did he think he would be able to hide it forever, or was he just so embarrassed after both Jennifers made fun of him to the press that he didn’t know how else to respond except to lie? I’m one of those people who cannot tell baldfaced lies like that, and this really makes me question his character. I guess we already knew enough about his character given the stories which have come out about him. His go-to response is to lie when he just as easily could have said no comment or changed the subject. It’s got to burn him that he’s being found out about this because he hates negative publicity so much, but hey at least The Pats won, right? Plus it’s not like any of this disqualifies him from politics.

Proud mom Madonna has revealed her 4-year-old twins daughters’ names.

In a new Instagram image advocating for adoption, the Material Mom, 58, confirmed that the twins are named Estere and Stelle.

“There are 650 Orphans at Home of Hope where Estere and Stelle have lived for 4 years since they were 5 days old. Run by the generous and compassionate Rev. Chipeto and his daughter Lucy, Raising Malawi has been working with HOH for over 10 years since I met my son David there. If you would like to get involved by volunteering or donations go to. Raising Malawi.org . Every little bit helps!!!” she wrote.

On Wednesday, the Holiday hitmaker announced her adoption joy.

“I can officially confirm I have completed the process of adopting twin sisters from Malawi and am overjoyed that they are now part of our family,” she captioned image walking hand-in-hand with her daughters.

She added: “I am deeply grateful to all those in Malawi who helped make this possible, and I ask the media please to respect our privacy during this transitional time. Thank you also to my friends, family and my very large team for all your support and Love!”

On Tuesday, the High Court from Malawi granted the pop star the ability to adopt the sisters from the country.

Madonna appeared in court with her lawyer alongside the twins’ father and uncle, who both witnessed the adoption.

According to Malawi’s judiciary spokesperson Mlenga Mvula, the girls’ mother died in August 2012, a week after giving birth to them.

“After their mother died, the children were looked after by their grandmother, who could not fully provide for them, so they were taken into an orphanage,” Mvula said.

Last month, news broke that the Vogue singer was set to adopt two children from Malawi.

The pop superstar adopted son David and daughter Mercy James, both 11, in 2008 and 2009, respectively.

The Papa Don’t Preach singer – who is also mom to daughter Lourdes, 20, and 16-year-old son Rocco – founded her Raising Malawi foundation in 2006 to benefit the orphans and underprivileged children living in the impoverished nation.

The singer adopted David with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, and adopted Mercy James as a single mother.

In case you haven’t noticed, I’m actually trying to branch out and write about athletes-as-celebrities and sports gossip more often these days. It mostly because I’ve started paying more attention to sports and sports gossip in general, but it also feels like athletes are venturing more and more into Hollywood and politics and reality shows and more. Anyway, this story is about two of the greatest NBA players around, both of whom spoke out about Donald Trump this week. First up: LeBron James. LeBron is not a fan of Baby Fists. LeBron slammed Trump’s “locker room talk” and LeBron endorsed Hillary Clinton in writing and in person, at a rally in Ohio. Post-election, LeBron wore a safety pin on the cover of his SI Sportsman of the Year issue. LeBron promised that he was going to be more engaged politically. And so it’s unsurprising that he’s continuing to use his platform to stand with disenfranchised people.

“Diversity is what makes this country so great,” says LeBron James, who was raised by a single mother in an Akron housing project. “We should all continue to speak up and fight for ideas that bring people together regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, religious beliefs or any other differences.” The NBA is a global league; every team has at least one international player, with more than 35 countries represented and many Muslim-American players. And the league has been comparatively outspoken on social issues, initiating in December 2015 a campaign against gun violence. “It’s important that we as athletes continue to use the platform we have to speak up for what we believe in,” says James.

As protests continue to rage over President Trump’s ban on immigrants and refugees from seven predominantly Muslim countries, James has calibrated his message to encourage peaceful dissent through free speech. “I am not in favor of this policy or any policy that divides and excludes people,” he says. “I stand with the many, many Americans who believe this does not represent what the United States is all about. And we should continue to speak out about it.”

It may seem like “who cares what basketball players say?” but the players have a lot of influence and they’ve wielded that influence really well over the past few years, for LGBTQ rights, for Black Lives Matter and more. It absolutely matters that LeBron is using his platform to speak about this. And I applaud him.

Meanwhile, Steph Curry (SF Warriors) is in the middle of an endorsement issue which has turned political. One of Curry’s biggest endorsements is for Under Armour. Under Armour’s CEO Kevin Plank recently said that Donald Trump’s presidency will be an “asset” to businesses. When Curry was asked about Plank’s comments, Curry said: “I agree with that description, if you remove the ‘et.’” Curry isn’t stepping away from Under Armour though, so I don’t know what to say. Curry endorsed Hillary Clinton too, and the Warriors coach, Steve Kerr, seems to dislike Baby Fists immensely.

At 7-weeks postpartum, Grey’s Anatomy alum Katherine Heigl started exercising again.

“1st day back on the exercise train postpartum and I’m feeling fine!” the new mom-of-three, 38, Instagrammed the image pushing her newborn son Joshua in the stroller.

She added: “And yes I am wearing a sweatshirt with my own face on it…only sweatshirt I had that was warm enough for Utah…then of course there’s the fanny pack…and the ol’ Miss ski hat…I mean the whole outfit’s pretty badass.”

Last week, the Knocked Up actress posted a precious photo snuggling her baby boy.

The Doubt star and husband Josh Kelley – who are also parents to daughters Naleigh, 8, and Adalaide, 4 – welcomed their son on Dec. 20.

The couple introduced their son on the cover of PEOPLE.

Later, they shared family photos on Instagram.

Expectant mama Natalie Portman stepped out on Wednesday (February 8). Joined by a friend, the Academy Award-winning actress, 35, striped her bump while enjoying a prenatal hike in Los Feliz, Calif.

The soon-to-be mom-of-two has been keeping active during her pregnancy.

Last week, we spotted the Jackie actress hiking with a friend. And the week prior, we spotted the pregnant actress hiking at Griffith Park in Los Feliz with a friend.

The actress and husband Benjamin Millepied – who are already parents to 5-year-old son Aleph – are expecting their second child soon.

Grey’s Anatomy star Camilla Luddington covers the March issue of Fit Pregnancy and Baby and opens up about her first pregnancy with longtime boyfriend, actor Matthew Alan. The mom-to-be, 33, also dishes on pregnancy hormones and reveals her baby’s gender.

On her first pregnancy: “My first trimester was tough. I felt lied to, because I always imagined myself as the type of pregnant woman who would do yoga and drink rejuvenating smoothies. Those plans went out the window. I couldn’t walk the dogs around the block without needing a nap, and I couldn’t eat anything other than bagels and cream cheese.”

On pregnancy hormones: “I asked Matt to pick up some Philadelphia Cream Cheese, which is pasteurized, on his way home. Well, he walks in with some other brand, and I had a huge meltdown. I was raging because I didn’t see ‘pasteurized’ on the label. Matt had to run to the store again. It was all so ridiculous.”

On rubbing the bump: “My character on the show, as of right now, is not pregnant, so I have to make sure I don’t rub my belly on camera. When I start rubbing, which I do mindlessly, the director points to her belly, and I know to stop. On Scandal, Kerry Washington is able to block her own belly with elaborate outfits and gorgeous bags. For me, there’s only so much you can do in scrubs, aside from carry an iPad. At some point, they’re going to need computer-generated imagery to fake things, and if they do, I’ve already asked them to give me amazing six-pack abs!”

On labor day nerves: “I know you’re supposed to wait until you’re dilating to go to the hospital, but I don’t trust Los Angeles traffic. My worst nightmare is to have the baby on the highway. I’m hoping to have my two best friends in the room with us. Not only for me, but for Matt, too. They can catch him if he faints.”

On revealing her baby’s gender: “My mother passed away when I was 19. She always made me feel confident, and I’ve carried that feeling with me my entire life. It’s helped me in this industry, where people are sizing up your looks. Because of my mom, I don’t need to be validated by anybody else, and I want my daughter to have that, too.”

On eagerly awaiting her baby girl: “I’m finding myself counting down the days until she’s here, not because I want it to go quickly, but I’m just so excited to meet her. I want to see her face and hold her in my arms. Even so, I keep telling her, ‘Stay in there! You have a while to cook!’”

Pop superstar Justin Timberlake covers the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter and opens up about family life with wife Jessica Biel and their 22-month-old son Silas.

On fatherhood: “At first, it broke me down. Those first eight months felt like those old [Ed Sullivan] shows where people are balancing spinning plates on poles — except if you drop one, they die.”

On why he bailed on NSYNC: “We were on a stadium tour, and I just felt like the whole thing was too big. It started as a fun snowball fight that was becoming an avalanche. And, also, I was growing out of it. I felt like I cared more about the music than some of the other people in the group. And I felt like I had other music I wanted to make and that I needed to follow my heart.”

On his childhood: “I have some faint images from my childhood. [But] I can’t really remember not being famous…. You go through your life with your own traumas, big and small, and think, ‘It’s not that bad, I have a lot to be thankful for, my parents did the best they could.’ But then you have a child of your own, and suddenly it opens all the floodgates, and you’re like, ‘No, no, no! That childhood trauma really did f— me up!’ ”

On if Silas wanted to be a performer: “Would I want my child to follow my path? You know, I haven’t been able to answer that question in my mind. If he wanted it bad enough, I suppose I could teach him a lot about what not to do…. Watching him jump around to ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling!’ starting to learn words because of that song — it’s the best thing in the world. I’d never have written it if it weren’t for him.”
