I’m not going to pretend like I know too much about singer Grimes. I know that she may or may not be dating Elon Musk, which, already, shows her taste is questionable. I know that she has interesting marketing techniques, like calling her own music “crap.” And just the other day I learned that Grimes is partnering with Stella McCartney for her Adidas Collection. Stella announced Grimes involvement on her IG page. Grimes used a photo from the same shoot to confirm her collaboration with the designer on her IG page. In her caption, Grimes detailed her workout routine so that we, too, can get her nice toned figure. It’s a crazy workout, too. Burpees and planks have been replaced with shouting into the void, wielding a sword and submitting to a deprivation chamber.

ADIDAS: Tell us about ur training regimen ?

GRIMES: My training is a 360 approach. I first maintain a healthy cellular routine where I maximize the function of my mitochondria with supplements such as NAD+, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Magnesium, etc. This helps promote ATP and it’s incredibly visceral. From that point I spend 2-4 hours in my deprivation tank, this allows me to “astro-glide” to other dimensions – past, present, and future. In the afternoons I do a 1-2 hour sword fighting session with my trainer, James Lew, we go over the fundamentals that work the obliques, core stabilizes, and triceps as well as a few tricks. To wind down from this I spend 30-45 minutes on an inclined hike at roughly 4-4.5 miles per hour, arguably the most efficient workout. I then spend 45 minutes stretching before heading into the studio where my mind and body are functioning at peak level, with a neuroplastic goal between 57.5 and 71.5 AphC’s (which is my preferred range for my blood type). I’ve outfitted my studio with the highest grade of red light. It is pretty much 1000 sqf IR Sauna. Hana then comes over and we do a screaming session for 20-25 minutes while I slow boil the honey tea that maximizes vocal proficiency. I have also eliminated all blue light from my vision through an experimental surgery that removes the top film of my eyeball and replaces it with an orange ultra-flex polymer that my friend and I made in the lab this past winter as a means to cure seasonal depression. I go to bed with a humidifier on.

I am all about the you do you philosophy when it comes to training. If I could stick to any routine, I’d be happy. Who’s to say that sword fighting isn’t the magic exercise that keeps me honest. I would finally have a proper party trick, that’s for sure. But I’m trying to add this routine up and I come up with about eight hours – that’s a bit much, I’d say. It’s cool to read about such a unique workout but I’m looking at it and the only thing I can really apply to my own routine is the fundamentals workout and the hike incline, at least until I find my sword fighting coach. It’s not relatable for the person they are trying to get to buy their shoes.

Going completely off assumption, I image Elon introduced Grimes to many of her alternative therapies. The supplemental routine was likely influenced by a trainer, but the rest came from someone who likes to research a lot of stuff, right or wrong. I know nothing of deprivation chambers because my claustrophobia barely allows me to read those words without getting light-headed. I am fascinated how a singer could get into scream therapy, though. Remember when Katy Perry said she and John Mayer didn’t even talk at home to save their voices? Granted I’ve never been trained in scream therapy but this seems risky. I get the benefit, though. Shouting into a pillow is some of the best therapy I’ve gotten. As for the experimental eye surgery, again, this just isn’t relatable. Even though some say there’s a case to be made for blue-light blockers, it’s not something the everyman can afford to do. And since she’s promoting an experimental surgery, we don’t even know if she should be promoting it yet. I mean, the shoes are cute, but if I need eight hours a day and experimental surgery in addition to paying for a Stella McCartney price tag for them, not sure this is my jam.

I was about to start off this post by using the phrase “Titanic Truthers” and then I had to stop myself because I wondered if that would be offensive to the real-life Titanic tragedy. If we had social media back in 1912, there definitely would have been Titanic Truthers though, and they would have compared theories about icebergs and how President Taft secretly ordered the sinking of the Titanic and more. But for now, the Titanic Truthers are really just people on the internet obsessed with the idea that Jack could have fit on the door with Rose in the MOVIE Titanic. It’s a thing. People always talk about it now, whether Jack could have fit on the door and whether Jack should have lived or whatever. Kate Winslet has talked about it, and so has director James Cameron. But Leonardo DiCaprio really hasn’t participated in the conversation. So… he was asked about in a group interview during the promotion for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood:

DiCaprio, who shot to worldwide fame after starring in the flick, hadn’t publicly commented on the moment until he joined Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie for an interview with MTV News on Monday, July 15. While the bulk of the discussion was centered around their upcoming film Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood, the conversation shifted as the Oscar winner was asked whether Jack could “have fit on that door at the end of Titanic.”

Robbie, who also starred with DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street, recalled “bawling my eyes out when I was a girl” watching that scene in the film. When Pitt weighed in, he said he was “gonna go back and look” at the scene in question.

“That is the biggest controversy, I think, in modern cinema,” Robbie, 29, suggested as DiCaprio chimed in to add, “Ever.”

Pitt, 55, then teased his costar by asking: “Could you? Could you have squeezed in there? You could’ve, couldn’t you?” The 44-year-old laughed, and then said: “No comment, Brad.” When Robbie then inquired further to determine whether DiCaprio asked if the door should be made “smaller,” he replied: “Like I said, I have no comment.”

I’m including the clip below. It’s cute, and it’s clear that Leo really doesn’t want to talk about it, and I admire his strength in NOT chiming in. Let people online talk about it, and Leo will stay above the fray. He wasn’t in charge of props. He wasn’t the screenwriter. He wasn’t the director. He just did what he was told, which is “die” in the cold ocean when he really could have thrown a leg up on the door.

Mariah Carey is 49 years old and on the cover of Cosmopolitan, wearing a tiara and a t-shirt with her own airbrushed face. It’s all very MARIAH. In all honesty though, I feel like Mariah is very happy these days. She went through a rough patch after her divorce from Nick Cannon, and I don’t think that failed engagement from James Packer helped her in any way. Now she’s got something happening with a backup dancer, and she’s still making music and having fun on online and she just seems to be… in a good mood. She’s back to being playful and light. So I enjoyed this fluff piece from Cosmo – some highlights:

On the difference between her and the new breed of superstars: “They have no idea what I went through as a child to even get to be an 18-year-old girl with a record deal. This was before you could just go on YouTube and sing.”

On growing up on Long Island as a mixed African-American, Venezuelan, and Irish girl with divorced parents and financial challenges: “People didn’t understand who I was, what I was, my ethnicity, the fact that we didn’t have money.”

I love her. I’m not a Mariah stan usually, but all of her quotes cracked me up. She’s so mad that the youths get recording contracts after simply putting up YouTube videos. She’s so mad that people claim to be songwriters and they definitely aren’t. And the Christmas quote broke me heart a little bit and made me understand her – she’s all about Christmas because of her own sh-tty childhood. All she wanted for Christmas was a nice, happy Christmas. And she never got that when she was a kid, so now she tries to give some Christmas magic to herself and other people. I would imagine her kids have PERFECT Christmases, don’t you?

Oh, and she’s only been with five people? I believe it. I just can’t believe she told her number to Cosmo!

Sarah Hyland, 28, has gone through some tough times recently. Of course she’s on one of the most successful and long-running sitcoms and is doing well professionally, but she’s had serious health problems including two kidney transplants. Sarah’s boyfriend, former Bachelorette contestant Wells Adams, 35, has been there for her. They made their couple debut on Halloween in 2017, when they dressed as Stranger Things characters, and seem to have met sometime that Summer through social media. They’ve been really demonstrative with their love and now they’re engaged! Wells posted a video of his beach proposal, that’s above. He also said some very sweet things about Sarah in a recent interview, as US points out. They’ve been living together since July.

The Bachelorette alum moved into the Geek Charming actress’ L.A. home in July and a source told Us later that month that they “are extremely serious.” Added the insider: “[Sarah has] never been this serious about anybody and all of her friends completely support them and think Wells is great for her.”

The duo have had wedding bells on the brain since taking that step. Back in September, Hyland told Us that Adams is “The One” for her. The radio DJ shared a sweet sentiment about The Wedding Year actress later that month, telling Us that he’s already thought about their nuptials.

“My family would be involved and they would ruin the entire experience because they’re crazy,” he joked at the time, noting that the ceremony won’t be televised. “They would have too much fun at the wedding and that would be a whole other story. Chris Harrison would kick my brother out of a part and be like, ‘You’re too drunk, you need to leave.’ Maybe [Chris would officiate]. He’s good at it. I think Chris just lives with camera crews following him around. I don’t think I would want that.”

The video got me a little! I loved the sweet photos of them interspersed with the proposal video. The song is called “I Like to Be With Me When I’m With You” by Drew Holcomb and the Neighbors. Sarah also posted the photos of the proposal and they both look so thrilled and in love. Those are below. Marriage can be tough, but I found this touching and am rooting for these two.

Her engagement ring is gorgeous. It’s hard to see but that’s pear-shaped, right?

Kylie Jenner is somewhat busy these days. She went on a “girls trip” to Turks and Caicos with her female friends (not Jordyn Woods), she’s still promoting Kylie Skin, and she’s Instagramming A LOT. Lots of bikini photos and provocative posing, because of course. In one shot, Kylie posed naked except for a straw hat, and some Instagram influencer named Amanda Ensing accused her of copying the pose. Imagine being accused of copying a naked photo! Anyway, Kylie clapped back and please don’t make me talk about that anymore. I’d much rather talk about this: do you think Kylie will get pregnant again this year? I think she will.

A source tells PEOPLE that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, 21, is “very happy with her life” with boyfriend Travis Scott and their 17-month-old daughter Stormi, who has been enjoying a girls’ trip in Turks and Caicos with her mom as of late.

“Kylie loves being a mom and can’t wait to give Stormi a sibling,” the insider says. “Everyone thinks Kylie will be pregnant with her second baby soon. They are trying.”

There was a conspiracy going around a few weeks ago that Kylie announced her pregnancy at Khloe Kardashian’s birthday party, but I don’t know – I didn’t think the voice sounded much like Kylie, although I would not be surprised if Kylie is already preg or planning to be soon. I mean, she’s 21 years old. Travis basically has to look at her once and she’s knocked up. I think it’s good that she waited more than a year though – Stormi is already 17 months old, which is CRAZY. Anyway, yeah – my guess is that she’ll be knocked up by Labor Day, maybe an announcement by Halloween?
