Teen Mom 2’s Kailyn Lowry Calls Out Kylie Jenner and Says She is Glamorizing Being a Young Mom

Kailyn Lowry has a bone to pick with social media mogul Kylie Jenner. Lowry feels that Jenner is making being a young mom look “slightly glamourous.”

The teen mom star spoke on Heidi and Spencer Pratt’s podcast, “Make Speidi Famous Again,” and shared her views on how Jenner portrays being a young mother, “I mean, I don’t want to hate her because obviously, she’s so successful. But when you’re that young and you have that much money and you’re able to kind of have a nanny and have a lot of help and you still do all these things, I think that shows that it’s kind of glamorous to have a kid so young.”

Kailyn who is now 26 had her first child at the age of 17. She went on to say, “I mean, she wasn’t a teenager. Obviously, it’s slightly different … I would not agree that our show makes it glamorous, but with situations like Kylie, they don’t realize that, you know, she has millions of dollars and she has a ton of help and she, you know, she can still go out and party and do all these things. So I think that makes it look slightly glamorous.”

The MTV reality star took a step back during the interview and instead of attacking Kylie’s decision to have a child at the age of 20 tried to understand where Kylie is coming from. “But also, I mean, she didn’t ask to be a role model. It’s so hard because obviously, I don’t want to mom-shame her at all, but just looking at the different scenarios, they’re just completely different. So it’s weird. It’s hard because how do you look at the situations and you’re, like, ‘OK, that’s glamorous, that’s not glamorous.’ But really, nobody should look up to us in that aspect. I don’t know.”

Kylie who is now 21 welcomed her daughter Stormi Webster with beau Travis Scott in February. As busy as the makeup mogul is with her work a source close to the reality star says Jenner is “a very hands-on mom” and is “very involved” with raising her daughter.

When I saw these photos early this morning, they literally hurt my eyes. It feels like every single day now, there’s some kind of fresh hell with Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin’s street style. And to be clear, it’s JUST street style. They aren’t actually going to any red carpets or any events or anything. Every single day, they just wander around New York, getting coffee or juice or riding Citi Bikes and crying. The paparazzi follow them and Justin and Hailey seem happy with that arrangement. My guess is that Hailey is even is being paid to wear a lot of “street style” clothes because of all the free advertising. But this? WHY? Why this acid-washed ‘80s nightmare? For the love of God.

Meanwhile, something interesting happened: Biebz bought a huge mansion in Ontario. Is Biebz planning on leaving the US and going back home permanently?

Justin Bieber is one step closer to being a pro jockey … dude just bought a crazy huge $5 MILLION mansion in Ontario, Canada with it’s own private horse racing track. The property is 101 ACRES — a skosh smaller than the size of Vatican City (for real, look it up) — and this place has it all!!! Private lake access? Check. Two story temperature controlled wine room? Check. Private gym? Check. Heated floors? YOU KNOW BIEB’S GOT HEATED FLOORS!!

Oh, and did we mention … the place has its own private equestrian facility with stables and a 5/8 mile race track!!!! The living space is 9,000 square feet — with 4 bedrooms, 6 baths, 3 fireplaces, game room and movie theater (obvi). It’s also got a 3 car garage. We’re told Bieber closed on the place on Monday — no word on when he plans on moving in … but the sooner, the better. Unclear if Bieber plans to make the home his main residence with fiancee Hailey Baldwin — or just a place to get away and hang by the lake. Either way, it’s another baller piece of real estate Bieber can add to his portfolio.

If Biebz is anything like me – is he?? – he relaxes by watching HGTV and he ends up stuck on marathons of Beachfront Bargain Hunt and Lakefront Bargain Hunt and he ends up thinking, “yeah, why not buy a getaway mansion by a body of water?” It just seems like it would be so relaxing. I imagine that was what interested Justin, the fact that it was lakefront. Does Bieber really care about horses and racetracks?

I recently tried to list all of the TV shows I’ve seen from start to finish, like Mad Men, The Closer, 30 Rock, etc. I forgot to add True Detective to the list. I loved the first season of True Detective – it wasn’t the most brilliant thing ever (certainly not as brilliant as the hype), but it was a good, creepy drama/procedural. So I was interested in Season 2 and by the third episode, I just made the commitment to hate-watch the season just to find out what happened. I still don’t know what really happened. Season 2 was shambolic storytelling and dumb action setpieces and nothingburger storytelling. It was awful. Every part of it was awful.

So I said I would never watch True Detective again. Enter Mahershala Ali. Mahershala won a well-deserved Oscar for Moonlight, and he spent that entire awards season being amazing and lovely. I’m a huge fan. So if Mahershala is the centerpiece of True Detective Season 3, should I give it another shot??

Season 3 stars Mahershala as “Arkansas state police detective Wayne Hays,” who is haunted by an unsolved (???) case in the Ozarks. Mahershala apparently investigates this crime in three different time periods. This season also stars Mamie Gummer, Stephen Dorff, Scoot McNairy and Carmen Ejogo. Mamie looks good and trashy in that one little glance we have of her. Unfortunately for everyone, this season was still written by Nic Pizzolatto, the same dude who wrote the first two seasons (he created the show). I mean… I’ll watch it. I’ll watch it because I love Mahershala. But I’m not expecting much.
