This is not a case of “saving the best for last” with the Cannes amfAR coverage. This is the last post of fashion photos from the event, and all of the ladies in this post are wearing Chanel. And every single look is WRONG. Totally and completely wrong. Let’s start with Kirsten Dunst in this Chanel suit. Is it a nice suit? Sure. It would have been great if she was making a court appearance or going to a charity luncheon in Beverly Hills. But this is the amfAR gala! And what’s worse is that for the entire Cannes Film Festival, Kiki has been killing it. She’s been knocking it out of the park on carpet after carpet. This is just wrong.
Juliette Binoche’s Chanel wasn’t completely terrible. It actually looks nice in this photo, although it had some bad angles in other photos.
Vanessa Paradis’s Chanel makes me wonder WTF is going on with Karl Lagerfeld these days. Why is doing these gigantic “feathered” sleeves? Why isn’t this lined throughout the bodice? Ugh.
Soo Joo Park in Chanel. This is just a negligee! And the mullet is doing her no favors.

Chloe Sevigny didn’t even walk the red carpet, which might mean that she kind of hated her frothy milkmaid dress? Because I hate it.

Anger Management star Charlie Sheen stepped out with daughter Sam, 12, on Thursday (May 19).
The father-daughter duo enjoyed lunch together in Malibu, Calif.
On Tuesday, we spotted the actor’s ex-wife, Twisted star Denise Richards, and their 10-year-old daughter Lola out and about in Malibu. They were also joined by Richards’ 4-year-old daughter Eloise.
The once-friendly exes are currently embroiled in a bitter legal battle.
Years ago, the Two and a Half Men star, 50, asked Richards and their daughters to move next door to his L.A. home, promising they would not be evicted should they do so.
The former Bond girl reluctantly agreed to move into the home in Mulholland Estates in Beverly Hills. After the move, Richards claims Sheen’s behavior toward her and their daughters became increasingly abusive.
The single mom-of-three, 45, says Sheen evicted them last September, and has not provided money for them to purchase a new home as he had originally promised.
Richards also claims that Sheen told their youngest daughter, “I’m going to kill you and I’m going to kill your mom.”
Richards is seeking $1.2 million toward a new home, which is the amount Sheen had previously promised to pay.
In June, Sheen went on a Twitter ran about Richards, including one that read, “Denise Richards is a shake down piece of s— doosh phace & worse mom alive. A despicable charlatan who sux ISIs ass.”
In November, Sheen went public with his HIV-positive diagnosis.

After focusing on his family for few years, David Schwimmer recently returned to television playing Robert Kardashian in The People vs. OJ Simpson. Next he’s headlining in his first series since Friends called Feed the Beast, premiering June 5 on AMC. Some outlets call it a dark comedy but David describes it as a drama with dark humor in it. He plays a widowed, alcoholic sommelier raising a son who hasn’t spoken since his mother was killed in a hit-and-run. Jim Sturgess plays his childhood friend, a chef who just got out of jail. With the help of a loan from the mob, they decide to open a restaurant in the Bronx. God, I am all over this show! David is making the promotional rounds and spoke to Seth Meyers about inadvertently making his five-year old daughter, Chloe, a beer drinker.
Like father, like daughter?
David Schwimmer visited “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Wednesday and shared a story about his 5-year-old daughter Cleo’s developing taste buds.
The “Friends” actor stars in a new AMC series, “Feed The Beast,” in which he plays a sommelier, struggling with alcohol abuse, who hopes to open a restaurant with his friend, who was recently released from jail. While doing some “research” for the role at home, Schwimmer allowed his daughter to have a sip of wine upon her request.
“Listen … I don’t know how the other parents are out there,” he said, “but when I pour myself a glass of wine that my wife and I have over dinner and my daughter says, ‘Can I try that?’ I thought, ‘Well, if you start saying no then they’re just going to want it more.’ So, I thought ‘Yeah, all right. Go ahead, sweetie. Have a sip.’ And luckily she was like, ‘Blah! No!’”
Cleo, instead, took a liking to another one of dad’s adult drinks: beer. According to Schwimmer, she now “loves” it and will take swigs when her parents aren’t looking. Clearly, he’s not too thrilled about it.
He added, “If I have a beer out, I have to watch it, because if I turn my back, she’ll be chugging it.”
[From The Huffington Post]
The exact thing happened to me. Using the same logic as David, I ended up having to wrest my champagne flute from my daughter’s clutches when she was five. To this day, I drink champagne from a Solo cup to hide it from her.
Seriously, I can’t wait for this show. After years of working in restaurants I have developed a love for shows that reveal how bonkers the business can be. Here’s a pretty good write up on the series. Feed the Beast is loosely based on the Danish series Bankerot. Man, I hope Anthony Bourdain makes an appearance.

I’m sad that Kristen Stewart didn’t stay in Cannes long enough to stop by the annual amfAR gala held last night. But she was there for a full week, on promotional duty for two big films. These are photos of Kristen arriving at LAX on Thursday, after flying out of France. As you can see, she flew with her on-again girlfriend Alicia Cargile. While it’s none of my business, I would absolutely love to know what went down between Kristen and Alicia last year, and what happened between Kristen and Soko this year, and why one day Kristen was loved up with Soko and the next day Kristen wanted us to know she was back with Alicia. So much love drama! But yes, Alicia and Kristen are back together. And holding hands. And Soko is SO MAD about all of this.
Meanwhile, the last of Kristen’s Cannes interviews are still coming in. She spoke to Reuters about why she’s chosen to do these small, artsy French films. This is what she said:
“What is really obvious and apparent is the difference between why people make movies in France and why people make movies in the States. I like the fact that people aren’t dying to make a bunch of money and win a popularity contest, they’re actually just desirous of telling stories – so I feel at home here.”
[From Reuters]
I understand what she’s saying, and God knows I rail against the comic-book-movie filmmaking paradigm too. But it’s a tricky business, because those comic-book movies end up paying for the smaller art films, you know? And it’s also pretty rich considering that Kristen was a major part of a huge money-generating franchise with Twilight, and she’s openly discussed her desire to do big-budget action films too. She’s just as much a part of the “popularity contest” of Hollywood too, I’m just saying.
Also, Vogue did an interview with Kristen’s stylist Tara Swennen about how they chose all of Kristen’s Chanel looks for Cannes. I thought it was a situation where Chanel dictated to Kristen what she would be wearing, but Swennen says she and Kristen pulled the looks and tried to create a story around each one. Sure. You can read that Vogue piece here.

Bridesmaids star Rose Byrne stepped out with her 3-month-old son on Thursday (May 19). The new mom, 36, was all smiles while lunching with pals in New York City.
She was later seen pushing her son in the stroller while heading home. This marks our first glimpse of the Spy star and her baby boy.
The Neighbors actress recently opened up to Playboy about how’s she’s turning into her parents.
“Oh, I noticed that long before,” she replied when asked if motherhood has transformed her into her parents.
She added: “As I started getting older, I began noticing. Luckily, I like my parents, so it’s cool. But it’s funny how it manifests itself. My parents are very no-nonsense Australians: They don’t like fanfare or fussiness. They’re incredibly self-sufficient and curious. I hope I’m like them in those ways. Australians are real wanderers; we’re well traveled because we’re so isolated. That’s something I’m proud of in being an Australian.”
The actress and her husband, Vinyl star Bobby Cannavale, 46, welcomed their first child on February 1.

Yesterday, I was pretty clear on where I stand on the whole Blake Lively booty controversy. I think she did a dumb thing and she deserves the backlash. To recap, Blake posted an Instagram photo of her ass with the caption “L.A. face with an Oakland Booty.” That caption is a lyric from Sir Mix-a-L…
