Something weird happened during Bradley Cooper’s Oscar campaign for A Star Is Born: I sort of started liking Irina Shayk. If anything, I dislike B-Coop more right now than I did a year ago, but I became an Irina fan. She gave a handful of interviews during his campaign, and she came across as someone with a sort of dry, Russian sense of humor and someone who is rather harmless and easy to please. She’s not all about the most exclusive things in life – she’s happy with some cake and a Russian soap opera. So as a new Irina stan, I am going to be on Team Shayk if and when Irina and Bradley break up. Which could be any day now.

Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk are on the rocks, a source tells us. Cooper, 44, and Shayk, 33, began dating in 2015 and welcomed daughter Lea De Seine in 2017.

“Because of their daughter, they keep trying,” said a source of the couple, adding, “Things are not good. Neither one is happy. The relationship is hanging by a thread.”

There’s been regular speculation about the star couple since Cooper’s highly emotional duet with “A Star Is Born” co-star Lady Gaga at the Oscars in February. But Gaga shut down rumors of any off-screen relationship by saying the supercharged performance was about the story and characters. “People saw love, and guess what? That’s what we wanted you to see,” Gaga explained.

Last October, Page Six exclusively reported on troubles between Cooper and Shayk. A source told us at the time, “They are miserable together. They have been for months. He doesn’t drink and is into spirituality. She wants to go out.” The couple were also spotted at dinner out, where a spy told us, “They were not looking happy … They barely spoke to each other at the start of the meal.” A source close to the couple at the time insisted it was all “not true.”

But the first source speculated, “They couldn’t break up when he was doing promotion for ‘A Star Is Born,’ but who knows what will happen now?” Shayk attended the Met Gala solo in May.

Knowing Irina as I do now (lol), I don’t really think she’s the “let’s go out and party constantly, you’re being a wet blanket because you aren’t drinking” kind of person. Irina seems like she’s fine with keeping it low-key in general. My guess is that if they are breaking up – and who knows, they probably are – it’s just because they were always sort of ill-suited for one another. I think that’s mostly about him – he’s so weird in his relationships, and I feel like he truly expects his girlfriends/partners to drop everything and prioritize HIM and him alone. Which would be fine if he dated women without a lot of sh-t going on, but he’s always dating actresses and models who, guess what, have jobs and travel and aren’t there to constantly serve him and his emotional needs. What I’m saying is TEAM IRINA.

Also: no, I still don’t think this is about Lady Gaga. Leave poor Gaga out of it! I doubt Gaga and B-Coop have even spoken to each other since the Oscars.

Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of Eat Pray Love, has an interview with NY Mag’s The Cut for their “How I Get it Done” feature, which I’ve mentioned many times that I love. I’m really into schedules, routines and planning and love to learn the habits of successful people. Elizabeth has been open and very over the top about her relationships. The last time we covered her she was waxing poetic about how awesome her new boyfriend is and how happy and in love she is, a year after losing her girlfriend to cancer. (She dumped her husband for her best friend, but that’s another story.) That sounds decent on the surface but she has a very hoaky, cloying style of writing and comes across as self-obsessed. That’s her brand I guess, but I end up rolling my eyes whenever I read something from her. So I was surprised to actually enjoy this interview, probably because she talks like a normal person and not the way she writes. Elizabeth wakes up at 5, which is when I wake up too, she loves to dance (me too!) and she takes two to three short baths a day, which seems a little strange to me. They are relaxing and meditative for her, and she does short meditations as well.

She wakes up at 5am when she’s writing
When I am [writing a book], my day is very simple. I get up at 4:30 or 5 a.m. and I write nonstop until midmorning. Then I spend the rest of the day staring at a wall because my brain is like a fried egg. I’ll have an early dinner and an early bedtime, by 7 or 8 p.m., and I’ll do it again the next day and the next until the book’s finished. It’s a very militaristic thing, the early hours. But I really want to be uninterrupted and the world doesn’t wake up in a way that bothers you till about 9 a.m.

She loves dancing
I started dancing every morning as part of my grief recovery plan about a year ago. I will put on my upbeat dance mix and I’ll hit shuffle and I’ll dance to whatever comes up. It just seems to be a really good way to move energy through your body and start the day.

Why she posted about her new boyfriend
Sometimes I use social media to share certain things because, frankly, it makes my life easier. I recently posted that I was seeing somebody — more than seeing somebody, that I loved somebody — largely because I’m out in the world a lot in public, and I would much rather tell you who I’m with than have people speculating and gossiping.

She’s a very light packer
My great gift from God is my ability to pack lightly. I’m a fascist about trying not to check luggage. My greatest packing achievement ever was a seven-week-long trip that involved three countries, a wedding, a book tour, speaking at a TED conference, and a range of temperatures from Vancouver in the winter to Santiago in the summer. And I did it all in a carry-on. The magic trick is to figure out the shoes. If you only bring two pairs of shoes, you can wear one pair on the plane and bring the other pair in your suitcase, and of course black is the answer.

She loves baths
I take two or three baths a day. Baths are a big part of my mental health. It’s like, “Ah, I’m stressed. I’m scared. I’ve got 20 minutes, so I’m going to take a really quick bath and read a novel and disconnect.” I’m not a bath-salts person or anything. It’s a snap treatment when you don’t have time to go away.

Again, she sounds kind of relatable in this interview, as opposed to the drivel she writes. I wonder how people who write like that get published. Note to writers – write the way you speak. Cut the extra words, cut the pretension and strive to be readable. I know I don’t always succeed at this, but I practice every day. Getting back to Elizabeth, her schedule is enviable, I agree about waking up at 5, and if I was more of a bath person I think fitting in two to three twenty minute baths would be easier than taking a full hour one. That’s how I am with exercise. It’s easier to do little workouts throughout the day than block off a whole hour. As for her packing skills, I’m not like that at all. I need an entire large suitcase for a week of travel. I want fashion options and all my toiletries.

Something I think about all the time: early in the Trump administration, some newspaper or weekly did an article about how foreign diplomats think Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner are raging morons, and one unnamed Saudi diplomat basically said (and I’m paraphrasing) that they should be compared to the idiots of the Saudi royal family, given fake jobs to flatter them and make them look important, but never given any real power. It’s true though? That’s what they are. The Trumps operate on cronyism, blind loyalty to the Don and mafia-like family connections. So, unsurprisingly, Ivanka and Jared have been “included” in everything about the Trumps’ state visit to the UK. Ivanka was at 10 Downing Street today with her father and step-mother. She attended the state banquet, and the lunch at the palace.

I didn’t want to write about Ivanka’s fashion choices, but it’s clear from the comments that you guys want to discuss, so here you go. My form is protest is that I’m not going to look up the IDs on any of Ivanka’s sh-t. F–k her and her fug clothes. Her outfit today for the 10 Downing visit was so inappropriate – a sheer blouse with animal print? Gross. She thought she looked amazing though. She did not.

This is what she wore for the day activities yesterday. THAT HAT. Gross. The whole ensemble is a trainwreck, if we’re being honest.

For days now, there’s been an absolutely wonderful meme going around the internet. Black Twitter – specifically, several black women – decided to play with Photoshop and give Chris Evans acrylic nails, bonnets, braids and more. It didn’t stop with Chris, but he was the one who looked the best in the acrylics and bonnets. It was just the kind of silly and fun thing which gets picked up and shared like crazy. Some samples:

As you know, the Queen hosted the Trump Administration at Buckingham Palace last night after a day of joint British and American activities. Prince William and Catherine were there too. Here are more photos of the Duchess of Cambridge at last night’s state banquet for the Trump family. All of the significant women wore white: Kate, Melania, Camilla, the Queen and Rose Hanbury (lol). Kate’s ruffled McQueen was… better than I expected, honestly. I mean, it is what it is and her style is her style, and within Kate’s style parameters, it looked good. What I guess I didn’t realize is that her look was also significant because this was the first time she got to wear her sash after the Queen made her a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order. That happened recently – just weeks after the Rose Hanbury story blew up, and as I said at the time, it felt like a gift from the Queen – “thanks for sticking with my cheater grandson, here’s a sash.” It came eight years after Kate and William’s marriage, which seems like a long time.

It was at the state banquet last night that the Duchess of Cambridge debuted her sash as representative of her new royal order. Since April, when Kate Middleton celebrated her eighth wedding anniversary to Prince William, she has been a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian (GCVO) Order – and Donald, Melania and all the president’s men were the first to witness her elevation in status.

Note the blue, red and white sash and the badge featuring the Maltese cross – the regalia that comes with the Royal Victorian Order (RVO). The honour, that was founded by Queen Victoria, is for personal services to the monarch. It is the Queen’s way of showing gratitude for the way that the Duchess of Cambridge has conducted herself these past eight years; for eight successful years of marriage to her grandson and for producing lineage of the House of Windsor via three heirs. The award was considered a ‘very public show of support from the Queen’ – and is the very highest for services to Her Majesty.

Oh, here’s something else I forgot to point out – in addition to wearing the Lover’s Knot tiara – which is the tiara the Queen usually gives to Kate – Kate also wore the Queen Mother’s sapphire and diamond fringe earrings. As for the RVO, now Kate has the same “rank” as Camilla and Sophie (the Countess of Wessex), and she’s expected to show up at the annual Order of the Garter ceremony. Which will be happening soon:

The Duchess of Cambridge will be joined by two of the most glamourous royals at this year’s Order of the Garter ceremony, which will take place in Windsor Castle on 17 June. HELLO! understands that Queen Letizia of Spain and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands are flying in to support their husbands, King Felipe VI and King Willem-Alexander, as the Queen formally invests them with the Order’s insignia in the Throne Room of the Castle.

Letizia and Maxima will no doubt be in good hands, as Kate is due to attend alongside the Duchess of Cornwall and the Countess of Wessex. The mother-of-three has attended nearly every Garter ceremony since 2011, only missing it in 2015 and 2018 as she was on maternity leave. Her husband Prince William is a member of the Order.

I’m sure all of the royal experts around here know this already, but I did NOT know that Princess Anne is the only Windsor woman who is a member of the Order of the Garter right now. Sophie is not, Kate is not, Camilla is not. Their husbands are members of the Order, but not them. Huh. I wonder if that will be the next prize. Going with the line of succession, it would seem like Camilla should be given the Order of the Garter before Kate though.

US Magazine knows how easy it is to cover Jana Kramer and Mike Caussin. All you do is ask them questions, they reveal how dysfunctional their relationship is, and you report on the things they say. Rinse and repeat. Jana has made a cottage industry out of it with her podcast too. Mike cheated on Jana right before their wedding, he cheated on her after they got married, he cheated on her again after they had a child, and she sent him to sex rehab, took him back, and they had another. Us asked Mike if there were any deal breakers in his relationship with Jana and he said that yes, it would be a deal breaker if she cheated on him. Because they’ve done so much work on that or something.

Fans weren’t the only ones left baffled after Mike Caussin recently revealed that he’d call it quits on his relationship with wife Jana Kramer if she was unfaithful.

“I am still scratching my head about that, too, because it feels very one-sided to me, and it honestly kind of hurts my feelings that he wouldn’t stand by me if I did that,” Kramer, 35, told Us Weekly … “And I think that’s what hurts me — knowing no matter the work we’ve done or not that you wouldn’t stand by me.”

“I know deal breaker means deal breaker, if it happens, you’re out. That’s why I tried to talk around it and say that no one knows how they’re going to act until they’re in that situation, and the same goes for me,” Caussin, 32, dished to Us. “And so, because of all the work we have done, it would just be crazy to think that that would even happen, but if it did, that means we missed a lot of steps along the way. And I don’t know — that’s just the one thing — I don’t know if there’s anything else that would make me consider being a deal breaker.”

Kramer, however, noted that it’s still a hard pill to swallow. “That one still bothers me a little bit,” she said. “One day we’ll understand.”

Kramer and Caussin briefly split in September 2016 after Us Weekly revealed he cheated on Kramer with multiple women. He entered treatment for 60 days and the couple later reconciled, renewing their vows in December 2017.

Kramer also stuck by Caussin despite his sex addiction relapse in 2018. The twosome — who share daughter Jolie, 3, and son Jace, 6 months — celebrated their 4th wedding anniversary last month.

Wow this guy really is trash. Also Jana says she regrets it that Mike had a vasectomy because she wanted another baby. He then made a slippery slope argument about having kids, “when does it end” and not having enough time to themselves when they’re old. You can read their quotes in US. My friend’s husband, who was similarly cheating on her with so many women, also took it upon himself to get a vasectomy when she wanted more kids. Luckily she’s divorced from him now but I think guys like that get vasectomies so they can have unprotected sex with their side pieces too. I learned a new acronym in the comments on US. DTMFA. She needs to do that. At least she won’t be having more kids with him.
