School is Back in Session: See Which Celebrity Kiddos Are Starting Their First Year of School

Summer is coming to a close and you know what that means don’t you? School is back in session. This time of year can be bittersweet for parents. The summer fun and memories you made with your family is over and you might have a kiddo that is going into their first year of school.

As a parent watching your child go off to school for the first time can bring up a lot of emotions and you might shed some tears. There are a few celebrity parents that watched their little ones walk into school for the very first time. Here’s a small list of celebrity kids:

It’s hard to believe that Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s 2-year-old daughter is starting preschool. We’ve watched Luna grow up before our eyes the past two years, celebrating all of her monumental milestones thus far.

Now the couple’s eldest child is off to school and Chrissy was so choked up about it, she could hardly type the words on her Instagram post. “First week of school,” the new mom of two wrote to fans. “They had us make a little family photo album she can look at when she’s sad or upset. she loves it. my heart ksosksodododosksidojsjskodmskzh.”

Chrissy, 32, later gave a progress report of her little girl’s first day and things didn’t go as smoothly as she hoped. In an Instagram video, Teigen revealed that her little tike pushed a boy on her first day.

Kristen Bell & Dax Shepard

Kristen Bell, 38, and Dax Shepard’s oldest daughter Lincoln, 5, started Kindergarten this year. Bell marked the occasion with a sweet Instagram post of the family walking hand in hand into school.

Bell had spoken to E! News earlier in the summer about her daughter starting school and was excited for her daughter’s new chapter saying, “I mean, it has nothing to do with me, I’m just sort of here for her, and I’ve shown her the school.” But emotions came to a head for the actress when preschool graduation came to a close.

Bell wasn’t the only one who was having a hard time seeing her little girl grow up. Shepard, 43, was in tears when it was time to leave his girl at school. Kristen shared a sweet father-daughter moment of Dax holding on tight to his daughter before leaving her behind for her first day of school.

There has been a lot of change in the Curry household recently. The family recently welcomed their new addition a boy Canon just a month ago. But their oldest daughter Riley, 6, started first grade this year and it looks like it was a slam dunk.
