Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter posted a photo of son Odin, 11 months, via Instagram.

“My little buddy,” the new dad, 37, captioned the image of his baby boy holding onto his teddy bear.

As it turns out, the cute tot is already walking. Nick’s wife Lauren recently shared a cute clip of the father-son duo “running around on faux grass” on her Instagram page.

In January, the proud papa shared a selfie with his “little man.”

The Everybody hitmaker and his wife are set to celebrate Odin’s first birthday on April 19.

Four generations!

Mothers and Daughters star Eva Amurri Martino shared a sweet snapshot with her mother, Thelma & Louise actress Susan Sarandon, her grandmother and her two children: daughter Marlowe, 2, and son Major, 5 months.

“Today my 94 year old grandmother met my son for the first time. This picture is kind of terrible (we are literally each looking in a different direction) but this afternoon was so special so this pic is too! Most of my cousins (more than 40!), and their babies, gathered to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday a couple weeks early. She didn’t know we were going to celebrate her birthday and when she realized she started crying. It’s amazing to think that the 60+ people who were present today were there because this strong woman started a family. I can only hope to be 94 one day, surrounded by my grandchildren and great grandchildren…rocking a super chic coral manicure. #HappilyEvaAfter #Family #FamilyReunion #HappyBirthdayGigi,” Eva, 32, Instagrammed the family photo.

Sarandon has opened up about being called “Honey,” not “Grandma.”

“I borrowed this name from a very dear friend of mine who’s from the South, and his grandma was ‘Honey,’ ” said the Dead Man Walking actress, 70, of her special title.

I’ve been missing Serena Williams. She pulled out of Indian Wells and the Miami Open because of a knee injury, and many are wondering if she’ll play at all during the clay-court season. Considering she made the final of the French Open last year, I would assume she’s going to try to make it again this year, but who knows? It feels like Serena plays fewer and fewer tournaments every year, possibly because A) she only really cares about Slams at this point and B) she has a full life outside of tennis. Speaking of that full life, Serena still isn’t talking much about her engagement to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. The vibe I got from Serena a few months ago was that she wasn’t really focused on planning a wedding and we should settle in for a long engagement. But then she Instagrammed this photo of a wedding gown this week:

Is she already shopping for a wedding gown? And is this the gown? Is the wedding happening sooner than anyone expected??? Just my opinion: Serena won’t marry Alexis before Wimbledon. Right? She’ll want to focus on Wimbledon. Fingers crossed. I also don’t think this dress is all that? I’ll be super-disappointed if Serena’s wedding gown is some frou-frou lace doily.

Meanwhile, the Romanian Fed Cup captain, Ilie Nastase, lodged a major slam against Serena last week and I’m sort of shocked by how little press there is around Nastase’s charge. Nastase said (in Romanian, in a press conference) that Serena “looks” like someone on steroids and that Americans get away with a lot of stuff because of the sponsors and advertising. Nastase literally provided no proof for this accusation beyond “look at her.”

You have to admire Paris Hilton’s hustle. I give her props for branching out in what I hope are legitimate businesses after her celebutante star had fallen. Don’t worry if you forgot Paris’ businesses, she’ll list them for you any time someone puts a microphone in front of her. She has a DJ residency in Ibiza, a fragrance line, stores, handbags, shoes, hair extensions, a hair and beauty products line, her own hotel brand and probably some other businesses I missed. Seriously, that is impressive. However, Paris’ name has been popping up more than usual and when that happens, it’s usually talk of love and marriage. Well, guess what? Paris told E! her boyfriend of a few months, Chris Zylka is “the one.” She is also obsessed with her niece Lily Rothschild so she can’t wait to start a family of her own.

There are a lot of things going on in Paris Hilton’s life these days that she would consider “hot.”

To start, her romance with actor and model Chris Zylka is heating up so much, she’s confident he’s “the one.”

“I’ve never been surer of anything in my life,” she told E! News. “He’s so incredible in every way. We’ve actually been friends for a really long time, like the past six years. We just now started being serious in the past few months and it’s really just changed my life in so many ways and brought so much happiness to my life. I feel so safe and he’s so special. We’re best friends and we’re together every minute. I don’t know what else I could ask for. He’s perfect for me.”

Now that she’s happily in love, the 31-year-old mogul is considering becoming a mother more so now than ever—especially thanks to a special little lady in her life.

“Before I met [my niece, Lily Rothschild], I mostly cared about my business and my brand and traveling and I just thought I’d never have time, but especially after meeting her and me being in such an amazing place in my life and being so happy and in love, I can’t wait to [have a baby] one day,” she shared. “It’s just the meaning of life to have a family of your own and bring children into the world, so I cannot wait to do that one day.”

I get Paris’ adoration of her niece. I was younger than her when my nieces were born and they didn’t make me want my own kids – I just wanted them. Honest to God, I’d never loved anything so much in my life up to that point.

I am not so convinced, though, of Paris and Chris. I don’t doubt that he is THE ONE she will get engaged to. But we shouldn’t take her declarations as evidence they’ll make it down the aisle. Last year, Thomas Gross was her ‘soulmate.’ She was ‘meant to be’ with Paris Latsis. And she and Jason Shaw were ‘perfect for each other.’ I don’t begrudge Paris being head over heels for these guys, I’m just saying I’ll wait until the church bells ring to throw rice. I’m not alone on this, her parents Rick and Kathy said pretty much the same thing over the weekend. Whatever the outcome, Paris has plenty to keep her busy in the meantime. In addition to her businesses, she claims to receive several TV offers “every day.” Really? I’m having a hard time swallowing this one. But maybe she’ll combine her interests – sell a reality show on her engagement to Zylka and how she manages her many businesses while being a wife and mother? Let’s not pretend that this isn’t already in the works.

The April issue of Allure is getting a lot of attention, and it’s the right kind of attention. Allure’s April issue is about beauty, diversity and inclusion, and they profiled more than forty women of color to discuss race and beauty issues and more. The issue includes that Meghan Markle piece about feeling too light for the black community and too dark for the white community, which I already covered. Anyway, Constance Wu also contributed an interview to the issue. I’ve become Wu’s fan in the past few years because she dares to call out specific people for racism and their backwards views on women (and women of color). You know she’s probably getting tons of sh-t and she might actually be hurting her career. But she doesn’t care, and I admire that kind of fearlessness. Wu talks to Allure about when she became woke to racial issues and more. Some highlights:

Her background: “My family is Chinese-Taiwanese. I’m from Richmond, Virginia. The community in which I grew up was pretty white. The storybooks you got at school featured white children and an animal, or animals, and as you got older the novels you were assigned were about, like, the problems of white boys and their dogs.”

Grateful for work: “I’d always booked television work, but I’d always been in the supporting role, the best friend or the assistant to the white person. And I was grateful and happy for that. I wasn’t forced to think about it, because I was placated to the point of satisfaction. But once I was in the lead role and other people started making such a big deal out of it, I realized I was previously blind to it. I thought, I should read stuff by people who’ve thought about it more than I have. It was quite freeing [to discover that] the self-blame I had internalized my whole life had a language and a community that I hadn’t previously had. That said, I think that sort of self-blame informed my work ethic. It made me want to work harder.

There’s a difference between Asians and Asian-Americans: “I wish reporters were more in tune to the difference between the Asian experience and the Asian-American experience. I think often they lump the two together and think that when I talk about Asian-American narratives that they can cite Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon or Mulan as proof of concept when it’s a different experience. We are told that we should be placated by those stories, even though they aren’t our stories. You can’t name an Asian-American movie that’s mainstream in the past ten years. You cannot name one. You cannot. You could name a Chinese movie, a Korean movie, blah blah blah, but it’s different. Even my television show is a period piece. It’s set in the ’90s. And a lot of times people think of Asian culture as some mythical world, instead of modern people with modern occupations with modern problems, modern tools, and modern occupations. Like we’re not all just talking Taoism and kung fu — some people are just trying to get over their breakup with their boyfriend, and they’re Facebook stalking.”

I was thinking about what she said about Asian-American stories being represented, and I could only come up with a few examples: Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, which is probably the first and only time two Asian-American men got to be leads of a movie. There’s also a lot of great work being done on television, but I know she’s talking about films. That’s what I love about The Mindy Project, even when the stories go to problematic places – Mindy Kaling has made her Indian-American-ness a part of the show, but it feels like a quietly radical move to show an Indian-American character who is just like every other woman, with love drama and work drama and flaws and more.

Also, I laughed at the shade of this: “as you got older the novels you were assigned were about, like, the problems of white boys and their dogs.” It’s so true.
