Pop superstar Jennifer Lopez posted a festive photo of 8-year-old twins Max and Emme via Instagram. “Happy Halloween,” the Grammy Award-winning singer, 47, captioned the image of the twins in their cute costumes.

J.Lo and the twins’ father, ex-husband Marc Anthony, are collaborating on Lopez’s new all-Spanish album.

“I am so excited and really looking forward to this new musical journey and to celebrate my Latin roots with Marc Anthony and the Sony/Magnus family,” the mom-of-two said recently in a statement.

Friendly exes Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick posed for a festive photo with their three children – sons Mason, 6, and Reign, 1, and 4-year-old daughter Penelope – on Halloween night (October 31).

“I know it’s now November, but…” the reality star, 37, Instagrammed the image of her family posing in their superhero costumes.

The mom-of-three also posted pics with her kids dressed up as Power Rangers.

“Happy Halloween!! May the power be with you,” she wrote.

Zayn Malik is really branching out in many directions (that wasn’t supposed to be a pun but then I read it and now I’ve decided to leave it). Obviously, he’s a singer with a successful solo career, he’s a fashion designer and now an author. His book, ZAYN, is due out today. The description says it’s “a photographic journey of his life since leaving One Direction,” which was a year and a half ago. Although that seems like a pretty short timeline to document, it’s more what he is documenting than how much. As has been reported, Zayn suffers from anxiety issues and has had to pull out of a few performances as a result. But when his anxiety made it impossible to perform at the Capital Summertime Ball last June, he decided to be up front with his fans and tell them exactly why he was canceling. You can read his announcement here. In his book, Zayn explains that the reason he chose to be honest was for his fans who also suffer from anxiety.

I just couldn’t go through with it. Mentally, the anxiety had won. Physically, I knew I couldn’t function. I would have to pull out.

One of my team members offered to write a statement saying that I’d been taken ill, but I didn’t want to do that. I was done with putting out statements that masked what was really going on. I wanted to tell the truth. Anxiety is nothing to be ashamed of; it affects millions of people every day.

I know I have fans out there who have been through this kind of thing, too, and I wanted to be honest for their sake, if nothing else. When I was in One Direction, my anxiety issues were huge but, within the safety net of the band, they were at least manageable. As a solo performer, I felt much more exposed, and the psychological stress of performing had just gotten to be too much for me to handle—at that moment, at least. Rather than hiding away, sugar-coating it, I knew I had to put it all out there.

You can read the full excerpt here. It’s obviously very emotional for Zayn and quite brave of him to lay himself bare like that. Especially since he said that even after he was completely honest, some people, including many within the industry, still had doubts about his motives. Fortunately, he has also received an outpouring of compassion and others reaching out to him who suffer from the same.

I found what he said about that the band being a safety net for his anxiety interesting. That must have been a terrible realization after his departure from One Direction. Later in the excerpt, Zayn says it’s further frustrating for him to cancel his performances because he loves performing. Not only is he letting his fans and business folk down, but also he can’t indulge in the addictive buzz of performing live. Like anything, the more that is said, the more spotlight shed on any disorder, the more we remove the stigma surrounding it. Someone who does not suffer from a disorder may never truly understand what that struggle is like but I think if we can just move to a place of empathy, we will all be so much better off as a society. Of course, handling something like anxiety is aways improved with a strong support network. In addition to his family, Zayn has girlfriend Gigi Hadid who seems to really have his back on this. I hope they both continue to champion this cause.

Amber Rose grows more and more mainstream by the day. I enjoy it – it feels like people “get” Amber’s deal, her message, her sex-positivity, her SlutWalk and more. She’s currently fronting a major makeup campaign and she has her own talk show. Amber chatted with Yahoo Style last week, and the conversation turned towards the larger conversation we’ve been having this fall about consent and sexual assault, especially in regards to how Donald Trump believes he can “do anything” even grab women “by the p-ssy.” Amber identifies a larger problem women have with sexual assault, which is how to report it, how to talk about it, how to even identify it. Some highlights from her conversation:

She recently had her first threesome and it “sucked”: Would she do it again? “Maybe with two guys. But not two guys making out with each other, two guys that are just all about me.”

Destigmatizing the word “slut”: “People not understanding that women are sexual beings as well is the reason why I refer to myself as a slut. It really just takes away the pain, takes away the bullying that we deal with as women.”

Donald Trump’s brags about sexual assault: “I want him to get in trouble for it because I cannot even count how many times a famous guy touched me inappropriately. Seriously. Imagine this: Donald Trump comes and touches me inappropriately, right? I’m a regular ass girl. Do I call 911? Do I get on Twitter and tweet about it? How should I go about letting people know that this guy did it to me and who’s actually going to believe me, you know what I’m saying?”

Amber identifies the real situation – I feel – that many of Trump’s alleged victims have found themselves within over the years. A powerful man grabs them, puts his hand up their skirt or down their blouse, or kisses them without consent. What’s next? Do you call the police? And if the police come, what’s the chance that they will laugh you off? But Trump doesn’t get that, because he thinks he can successfully shame these women by saying they weren’t attractive enough to assault.

Here are some photos from last night’s “Woman of the Year” event for Harper’s Bazaar UK, cosponsored by Estee Lauder. They gave awards to Keira Knightley and Emma Watson, amongst others. Keira wore Erdem, probably because the designer was on hand to win an award too. I don’t have some hard-and-fast rule about Erdem dresses – I’ve seen some Erdem pieces which are rather beautiful and some Erdem dresses which are just awful. It depends on the woman and the styling. This Erdem on Keira is… not great. The color is lovely and seasonal (so Christmasy!) but the whole look doesn’t really work. The neck is too high and Keira’s hairstyle sucks here.

Here’s Emma Watson in Dior. This is my favorite look of the event! I don’t even mind the ladybug (?) on her crotch. I do mind the hair, but it’s not that bad.

We only have a few more months left in Barack Obama’s presidency. Only a few more months to get drunk on the Obama family’s coolness and amazingness. So I’m binge-drinking it all in. We had the Obamas for eight amazing years and I don’t even think that Republicans realize how much they are going to miss the Obamas. I’m including some photos of the Obamas celebrating Halloween at the White House. So adorable.

Obama also chatted with my future wife Samantha Bee on her show, Full Frontal, last night. The idea was Obama tells “scary stories” for Halloween. The scary stories? What happens if you don’t get out to vote. Bee and Obama are really funny together!

I think it’s funny that Obama thinks Bee is so funny. He keeps laughing at the voices she does. I also love what the guessing game they do about what the dog-whistle complaints will be against a potential President Hillary Clinton – that she’s “tired” and “moody” and “ambitious.”
