The actor held onto the snacks while holding Otis’ hand. Jennifer walked along with Ruby and carried a baseball cap.

At another time Leo DiCaprio might be with them. The Spider-Man star is good friends with the Oscar winner.

“Leo tags along for more family friendly activities with Tobey, his wife and kids,” a source told People. “They will visit the beach, or grab Sunday brunch. Leo is great with Ruby and Otis.”

Brooklyn Beckham and his girlfriend Chloe Moretz were seen out with a friend in Los Angeles, Calif. on Saturday (July 2). They were coming out of a store with frozen treats. The handsome teen sported a tank and Soul Cycle shorts.

The couple appear to be inseparable. They were last seen jetting into LAX the other day.

In April dad David Beckham told ET that Brooklyn “is a good boy.”

“That’s all we want for our children, to be passionate, for them to be good and polite kids,” Beckham continued.

In her interview with Britain’s The Times, she talked about her father Donald Trump and how he has always supported women.

She said, “He always told me and showed me that I could do anything I set my mind to if I married vision and passion with work ethic. He’s also surrounded me with strong female role models who have done just that since I was a little girl.”

“People talk about gender equality. He has lived it, he has employed women at the highest levels of the Trump Organization for decades, so I think it’s a great testament to how capable he thinks women are and has shown that his whole life.”

Ivanka is an executive vice-president in the Trump Organization.

Adam Sandler and his family were seen walking back to their car after a bike ride in Malibu, Calif. on Saturday (July 2). They also had their two dogs with them.

Sandler has a busy year ahead. He is in the upcoming Hotel Transylvania 3 and The Story Of The Day.

In the past he has said parenting has kept him and his wife Jackie from going out.

He said, “Last night, my wife and I were falling asleep at 8 and we said, ‘No, we’re not giving into this sleep. Maybe we should go see a movie after the kids fall asleep.’ Well, the kids weren’t falling. I’m in one room saying, ’20 more minutes until they fall asleep.’ The next thing I know, I walk out of that room and my wife and my other daughter are curled up sleeping. I’m up half the night with the other one. Welcome to parenthood.”

Sara Hammel may be my new hero. Hammel was, up until recently, an award-winning entertainment journalist working for People Magazine. Hammel had been working for People Mag for 14 years as a freelance writer, and she had covered some really big entertainment stories, like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ Rome wedding. Well, after 14 years, she had enough. Enough of the celebrities, enough of their bats—t crazy publicists, and enough of the not-so-subtle changes with how People Magazine functions as an entertainment news source. So when Hammel resigned, she did so in a letter which is being called “bridge-burning” and “scorched earth.” And not only that, she made the letter public, so anyone can read it. Here you go:

Dear People Magazine,

I quit. It’s not me, it’s you. It’s been a wildly dysfunctional 14 years, and you’re an entirely different magazine than when we first got together. I swear half the current staff doesn’t know my name, despite my contribution to something like fifteen hundred stories in your celebrity annals, so here’s a refresher: I worked inside your London, Los Angeles and New York bureaus, covered breaking news in nine countries, and dealt with too many celebrities to remember (I know this because I was cruising through your archives recently and found my name on files I had no recollection of writing, and interviews with people I have no memory of meeting, like Ellen and Portia together, plus both leads in Nip/Tuck and that guy from Burn Notice). My first celebrity assignment for you was Spice Girl Geri Halliwell in 2002. My last was Robert De Niro in April 2016.

In between, there were memorable encounters galore, including making the gorgeous and empathic Mariska Hargitay ugly-cry (turns out she cries at like every charity-related event, phew), enduring an Oscar winner’s public bullying over an intimate dinner, facing a personal crisis at Tom Cruise’s wedding in Rome, getting basically, kind of spat on by a snotty J. Lo (okay, it was like a very wet pffttt in my general direction, really obnoxious), having fun with endless lower-key celebs like Rosario Dawson and Kyle MacLachlan and Michael Douglas, observing just how stiff and awkward George Clooney is around kids, insulting Sheryl Crow’s baby, and getting groped/harrassed by an A-list [omitted] performer in New York and Paris (that’s not to be flip—it was violating as hell. I’m still pissed I didn’t jab him in the balls with my pen).

This is just what the entitled stars and their bat—t crazy publicists put me and many other talented, hard-working reporters through. You people, as it turns out, are worse. Stupidly, we expect loyalty and support from you after years of service. We are naïve. Despite your nicey nice, glossy and chirpy veneer, some of us think of you more as the Leo DiCaprio of magazines, using up every beautiful model that crosses your path (“beautiful model”= “award-winning journalist” in this scenario), discarding them, and pretending you leave no wake behind you.

I’m oddly surprised my tenure here is ending not with explosive hatred stoked by a cold dismissal from an insensate behemoth (i.e. you)—a fate I watched ashen-faced friends and colleagues endure before my eyes during the Los Angeles bureau’s 2008 culling—but with a slow fade-out and a final venting of my gossip-weary spleen. Then again, that’s why I’m happy being freelance. I’ve survived something like eight rounds of layoffs where talented colleagues were bitch-slapped into oblivion and, I hope, will never give their nights, weekends, relationships and sanity again to keep up with an email chain about whether Jennifer Aniston is pregnant at 47 because of those tummy photos and what kind of mom will she be, when really she just had an extra burrito at lunch; but oh, wait, the rep says it’s just a rumor so there’s no story this week after all.

I will say, what happens after that is that my debut teen mystery, the one I spent my adult life making into a reality, but which, despite the schlock regularly featured in its pages and online, People decided to ignore—more to the point, they ignored me entirely—even after I toiled away for them for 14 years. They wouldn’t even give me a digital post that I wrote, sourced, and agreed to remove the name of my book from (LOL). That book is called The Underdogs.

I’ll leave you with the kicker: As I was crafting this letter, a Tweet came through from one of your top editors, Kate Coyne, crowing about her full-page People feature promoting her brand-new book, accompanied by a colorful screenshot. “Don’t ask how, but I got in touch with someone at @people—now I’m in the new issue. So grateful!” You should be, Kate. Enjoy it while it lasts.

That’s some good dirt! I want to know the identities of those two blind items: who is A) the Oscar winner who publicly bullied Hammel over an intimate dinner and B) the A-lister who groped and harassed her? I love all of the named shade too – while I love J.Lo, I have no doubt that she’s spat/phlegm’d on reporters. And I think the whole idea of Clooney being really awkward around children is HILARIOUS. Granted, I’m awkward with kids too, but I’m not George Clooney! As for the email chains about Jennifer Aniston’s burrito baby… that’s a very “how the sausage is made” story about editorial decisions, isn’t it? That People Mag reporters are email-chaining about Aniston possibly being pregnant at 47 is… sad, I think.

Johnny Depp has returned to America after spending a month in Europe and the Caribbean. He was in LA for a week, then on Friday, he resumed touring with his boy band, The Hollywood Vampires. These are photos from the band’s story in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where Depp got pap’d outside the concert. It looks like he has some kind of handler trying to drag him away, but Depp happily waved to photographers.

When he waved, photographers and eagle-eyed gossips noticed something different/strange. Apparently, after Depp married Amber Heard, he had “SLIM” tattooed on his knuckles on his right hand. Many thought that “SLIM” was a reference to Amber, perhaps even his nickname for her or a private joke they shared. Well, following the divorce filing and Amber’s accusations of spousal abuse, Depp had his “SLIM” tattoo changed. It now reads “SCUM.” Because classy, you guys. Here’s a blurry photo, but you can make out “SCUM”:

People Magazine also notes that Depp seems to have “blackened out” the tattoo he had of Amber’s face (?) on his right bicep. Famously, back in the day, Depp had a “Winona Forever” tattoo when he dated Winona Ryder. When they split, Depp didn’t just cover up the tattoo or have it lasered off: he repurposed it to say “Wino Forever.” Wino Forever seems almost blissfully kind compared to making “SLIM” into “SCUM.”

Let me ask you: is this the face, and are these the actions of a man who is going to settle with his estranged wife in the next month? Amber might need to drop some additional stories about how she’s willing to tell the whole story under oath.

In my life, I’ve read a lot of Stephen King’s books, but I never got into The Dark Tower series. Should I give it another try? Everyone always says that the opening line of the first book – “The man in Black fled across the Desert, and the Gunslinger followed” – as one of the greatest opening lines of all time. Even King says that the Dark Tower series is his magnum opus, and that’s coming from someone who wrote The Stand, The Shining and Carrie. So should I try the books? I’m thinking I might have to now that I’m seeing the first photos of Idris Elba as the Gunslinger, aka Roland Deschain.

These photos are from Friday, in New York City, where Idris and Matthew McConaughey were filming. McConaughey is playing The Man In Black, aka Randall Flagg. People are already saying that McConaughey “looks the part” as written by King. But when Idris was cast as the Gunslinger, there was some drama. Because in King’s novels, the Gunslinger is white. But after Idris was cast, King came out and said that he was fine/happy/pleased with the casting, and everyone involved with the film adaptation is crazy about Idris too.

All I can say is that this was a brilliant casting choice if you want men and women to check out the film. Idris Elba looking gorgeous and badass in a great coat? PLEASE. And while I doubt this film will win any Oscars, I honestly believe that Idris doesn’t care, long-term. He just wants to work on interesting projects, and this is one hell of an interesting project.

I never read Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat, Pray, Love, mostly because I could tell from the back cover description that it wasn’t going to be something I would enjoy. I did watch the movie though, and it confirmed my worst suspicions: that the source material was problematic, and the movie version didn’t make it any better. To be fair, most people thought the movie didn’t do the book justice, and to be fair, many believe that the real Gilbert is more sympathetic than the Julia Roberts-version. Near the end of Gilbert’s journey in the book and film, she meets Felipe, played by Javier Bardem in the film, and they fall in love. In real life, Felipe was based on Jose Nunes, a man Gilbert met and fell in love with on her journey. Jose and Gilbert married in 2007. And now they’re over. She announced her split on her Facebook:

Yikes. While it’s almost always sad to hear that a couple is splitting up, I do wonder if Gilbert will find some way to write a follow-up book on her latest post-divorce journey. Maybe: Divorce, Drink, Bang. No, of course not! That would be off-brand. It seemed like Gilbert’s whole deal was “upper-middle class white woman discovers colonial tourism,” and I suspect this new post-divorce journey will be the same. Where will she go this time? France (for the food), then Kenya, then maybe Cambodia. She’s probably pitching the book as we speak!

The Drinking Buddies star and fiancé, SNL alum Jason Sudeikis, are expecting their second child together. Sudeikis recently told E! News he was anxious to have another one.

He joked, “My own kid [makes me want more], because I made it with Olivia and that seems like a good cocktail.”

The actor also admitted on Watch What Happens Live that he’s not jumping to get married soon.

He said, ”We are good in many many ways. I believe that we won’t get married until weed is legal in every state.”
