This is just something fun, even though I know we’ve had a lot of royal posts in the past four days or so. It’s not my fault! The British royal family has been doing all of these events for the Queen’s birthday celebrations, and now the Royal Ascot has started, so HATS! So many hats. Prince Harry, the Dirty Ginger Snap, wore a hat! These photos are from today, the first day of the Royal Ascot. The Queen was there, Princess Beatrice was there, the Prince of Wales was there, and Harry was there.

The Queen chose a sunny yellow coat, which is a good thing because it looked pretty dreary and overcast there. She also looked so happy to be around her favorite people in the world, horses. And has anyone noticed something weird with Harry’s beard? I’ve enjoyed his beard enormously, and I think it makes him look older and more mature. But I like when it looks a bit fuzzy and long. He seems to be doing some kind of “beard fade” now and it looks hyper-groomed and gross. He also looks incredibly uncomfortable in these clothes.

Last thing: “Wildlife Presenter & Conservationist Anneka Svenska wearing the largest hat in Royal Ascot history made by milliner Louis Mariette,” per WENN. She wore the hat to “provoke conversation and change to improve welfare standards for race horses & cut deaths and injuries at all courses in the U.K.” That is some hat. How does one even walk?

Katie Holmes is in Toronto shooting The Kennedys After Camelot. She was seen on set yesterday with Matthew Perry who is playing Ted Kennedy. Katie, of course, is Jacqueline Kennedy …soon to be Onassis? She was also photographed in character with an obvious Aristotle (Alexander Siddig, or Doran Ma…

As most of you unfortunately know by now, a man whose name I will not dignify by writing walked into the Orlando nightclub Pulse early Sunday morning and committed a heinous act, the worst mass shooting in US history. Among those for whom this hit far too close to home was actor and DJ Ruby Rose. Ruby is a strong voice and advocate for the LGBTQ community and had just recently done a gig at Pulse.

Ruby Rose has shared an emotional social media post after the horrific Orlando mass shooting, revealing she performed in the city where 50 people were slain only last week.

“Woke up in tears to hear the news about Orlando. Devastated, heartbroken, sick,” the Aussie actor and DJ posted on Facebook and Instagram.

“I played there last Friday and last night I performed after Pride in LA. From the DJ booth you see laughter, love, dancing freedom and beautiful people living their lives not harming anyone. It’s one of the beautiful things to see from stage.”

“This horrific tragedy has me on my knees at the mercy of a greater power to ask the simple question of ‘When will this end’ … I’m praying for Orlando, I’m crying for Orlando and I am there with you in spirit sending my love and strength.”

[From Page Six]

I cannot begin to imagine what it would be like for Ruby to have been in that location, celebrating one day and waking up to find out that about a week later 50 lives were taken there. I had a loose connection to the UCLA shooting earlier this month and the chill of having proximity to tragedy is hard to shake.

The heartbreak from this tragic event is far reaching. J.K. Rowling posted the following to her Twitter Sunday to honor one of the victims, Luis Vielma. Luis worked on the Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios in Orlando:

Luis Vielma worked on the Harry Potter ride at Universal. He was 22 years old. I can’t stop crying. #Orlando pic.twitter.com/Nz2ZCWxNsS

Walt Disney World, which was another potential target for attack, and Universal both lost cast members. I have a friend at Disneyland, Anaheim and all cast members are devastated. Even if they had not met their East Coast counterparts, there is a real sense of family among the parks. I absolutely believe J.K. feels Luis’ loss personally. You can see a couple of general tributes posted by the cast members here and here. The Daily Beast has profiles and photos of many of the young people whose lives were cut tragically short.

I don’t know how to close this post with the proper respect. Please know my heart goes out to anyone and all affected by this. By way of concluding, I want to leave the thoughts of Michigan State Representative Jeremy Moss:

I literally never want to hear again that LGBT people in the bathroom are a threat to public safety.

There is nothing I can do today but cry and pray as I lay in shock after waking to the horrible senseless crime in Orlando.

I was in Orlando friday and played to a beautiful mostly LGBT crowd and I never once imagined reading this days after. These lives taken.

Following the surprise billion-dollar success of Zootopia—and the inevitable domination of Pixar’s Finding Dory—Disney will cap their (outrageous box office bonanza) year in animation with a new princess movie, Moana. It’s about a Polynesian princess, Moana, it features a mythical Maori figure, M…

Back in 2010-11, Katie Holmes signed on to play Jackie Kennedy in The Kennedys, an eight-part cable miniseries. The miniseries was well-liked and award-winning, although Katie was not singled out for any awards or nominations for her Jackie portrayal. But someone thought it would be a good idea to get the gang back together for a sequel miniseries, The Kennedys: After Camelot. These are photos of Katie-as-Jackie filming in Toronto over the past few days.

What do you think of her Jackie look? They got the hair right. I don’t know if this is a wig or if Katie’s hair can really do that, but the hair is very authentic-looking. The clothes sort of make me sad though. Post-JFK, Jackie’s style was simplified for the most part, but she always looked pulled together. I don’t think Katie is even wearing a bra in these photos. Hm.

So, I looked up this new series, and there’s some other notable casting choices: Matthew Perry is playing Ted Kennedy, probably Ted circa Chappaquiddick. Alexander Siddig is playing Aristotle Onassis!! So now I’m jealous because Katie Holmes gets to have love scenes with Alexander Siddig. And let’s face it, Aristotle Onassis was not that attractive.

Jennifer Garner’s Ice Cream Cuties

Author: Admin | Filed under: Celebrities

Miracles From Heaven star Jennifer Garner did the school run with her two daughters – Violet, 10, and Seraphina, 7 – on Monday (June 13).

The girls toted their books and backpacks after class, and later enjoyed ice cream cones at the Brentwood Country Mart in Brentwood, Calif.

On Sunday, the Alias alum, 44, was spotted at church with her three kids, including 4-year-old son Samuel.

Last week, we spotted the actress and her son running some errands in Brentwood.

Last month, we saw the actress and her estranged husband, Academy Award-winner Ben Affleck, sightseeing in London with their children.

And days before that, the Dallas Buyers Club actress and the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice actor, 43, were spotted leaving Paris on a train at the Gare du Nord with their kids.

The former couple explored Europe with the kids while Ben filmed Justice League in London.

Charlie Hunnam and his partner Morgana were photographed shopping this weekend. Seemed happy. Smiled for the paps. I was surprised to see new shots of him so soon after the last post on Friday. He’s not a frequent famewhore.

New pics of Leo at Goldbergs Famous bagels in Montauk today. (June 11 2016) He is with Nina Agdal. Same woman who he was pictured with in Cannes last month #leonardodicaprio #actor #montauk #imgmodels #ninaagdal

A photo posted by LEONARDO DICAPRIO (@leowdfan) on Jun 11, 2016 at 11:57am PDT

Yesterday, LaineyGossip pointed out that Leonardo DiCaprio got photographed (by what seems like a fan creeping on him, not a paparazzo) in the Hamptons with model Nina Agdal (see the Instagram above). The sighting was picked up by other outlets, like Page Six. Page Six says Nina and Leo “looked close” in Montauk last weekend and they were spotted at Goldberg’s Famous Bagels and the Montauk Point Lighthouse. Page Six noted: “Sources told us that DiCaprio and Agdal — who were first linked in 2014 — are dating again and spent a romantic weekend in the Hamptons.” But Leo’s friends insist that Leo and Nina were hanging out in a larger group this weekend, and that everyone was there for a friend’s birthday.

So, are Leo and Nina a thing now? I have no idea. I do think they’ve been circling each other for a while, and there’s evidence to suggest that they probably hooked up a few times (at least) back in 2014. They’ve known each other for a while, although how Leo keeps track of all of these models, I’ll never know. Just a few weeks ago, British sources insisted that Leo was banging Roxy Horner. There was also a Polish model in the mix, and let’s not forget actual teenager Chelsey Weimar.

A lot of people treat rumors about Leo’s love life like only one rumor can be true at a time. Personally, I think Leo has been banging all of these ladies. It’s like he’s gone on a model-banging-bender since he won the Oscar. He’s been loosely attached to like six different model “girlfriends” in three months, not to mention the rumors that he was trying to bed dozens of models at the Cannes Film Festival. Well, I guess that’s why he’s King of the Wolf Pack. Ugh.

paula-patton-haute-interview

Actress Paula Patton covers the June/July cover of Haute Living and opens up about co-parenting son Julian, 6, with ex-husband Robin Thicke.

On filming Warcraft and juggling motherhood: “When I was making that movie, it was a very challenging time as I was making changes in my personal life. It was interesting because the Garona character was going through a lot of challenges as well. I think the important thing is not to focus on what’s not working or how hard it is. You have to focus on what you do have and make it work, and make it be the best you can. At the end of the day, whatever project I do I give it all my heart, soul and passion. I am very grateful to do what I do, but my child comes first. Always. As long as I know that, then everything else falls in line and you just do the best you can.”

On their summer plans: “I do a lot of things last minute, but I love summer and I can’t wait to enjoy it with my son.”

On if Julian is following in mom or dad’s footsteps: “He’s taking after his father now, as he loves to sing and play the piano.”

On if Julian has seen Warcraft: “No, but I did let him watch the trailer. He was super excited and asked, ‘Are you good or bad?’ I wore my costume at home to get used to it, and he loved that. He loved the idea of Mommy orc.”
