The one time I watched Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season was when the astrologist was on. That was episode six in season ten (thanks Lisa!) and it reminded me so much of the drunk vaping psychic on season one! The astrologist did everyone’s charts and seemed like he loved sowing feuds, which is the whole point of this show. They did it at Erika’s house and my god her husband is OLD! He’s 81, I just checked, and he talked about meeting John Wayne when he was younger. I could not get with a dude that old, but I’m not a gold digger like so many of these women. Anyway the woman who was definitely the blandest was Teddi Mellencamp. Her main plotline was that she was besties with Kyle Richards, which is super boring. They tried to make some kind of “more than friends” story out of it, but that wasn’t flying at all. Plus we know the real hookup was between Denise Richards and Brandi Glanville. We recently heard that Denise is leaving RHOBH, and now there’s news that Teddi probably won’t be coming back either. Outlets are reporting that she’s about to be fired after three years.

Teddi Mellencamp is set to be axed from “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” after three seasons on the show, the Daily Mail reported on Monday.

“The network has not been impressed with her performance on the show,” an insider told the outlet. “They considered cutting her last season but gave her one last chance.”

The insider added, “She is boring and stale and does not offer anything to the franchise with her robotic and staged delivery when interacting with the other cast members. The issue is, the other cast members don’t particularly like her and beyond Kyle [Richards], no one is friends with her.”

Mellencamp, 39, joined the show in 2017 and struggled to fit in with the women. She found her footing with her close relationship with Richards this past season, but it seems that was not enough to save her diamond…

Mellencamp took to Instagram to defend the program and told Page Six: “We realize that social media is a blessing and a curse, and it can bring out the best in people and the worst. We have so many fabulous friends and fans on social, but there are also detractors, and there will always be people who want to feel better by making other people feel worse. That makes me sad, but it’s the way it is.”

“I decided to start All In when so many of my Instagram followers started reaching out and wanted to achieve the same level of accountability, I had found for myself,” she concluded. “I realized this in fact is my purpose and what I love doing. Helping others feel their best.”

Teddi is younger than the other housewives at 39, she’s sort-of a self-made businesswoman apart from the fact that her dad, John Cougar Mellencamp, is rock royalty, and she’s married to a guy who is only four years older than she is. She’s boring comparatively and she wasn’t good at getting in feuds with the other women either from what I could tell. We just talked about her extremely expensive diet coaching plan, which former clients say boils down to eating 500 to 1,000 calories and exercising for an hour a day. That’s very unhealthy and borderline starvation, but even her response to that was predictable, defensive and not that interesting. Everyone says the same thing about haters trying to bring them down because they’re successful. So she’s getting fired for being boring on the show. The fact that she didn’t turn that PR disaster into some kind of lifestyle content with People or US likely just reminds RHOBH producers that she’s not going to change.

I had no desire to cover the Brad Pitt-Jennifer Aniston shenanigans with their “reunion” for charity. They participated in a celebrity script-reading of Fast Times at Ridgemont High last week. All of the old-school Brad & Jen loonies were going crazy about their “flirty” energy and how clearly, they’re back in each other’s lives and everything is amazing between them. Um…

First of all, I think Brad just did it to change the headlines away from the disaster rollout of Nico Mary, his married lover who gives off Instagram-hustler energy. Brad and Nico have not seen each other since late August, and Team Pitt is clearly trying to make everyone forget about how “cool” he is to still “get” 20-something Insta-models. So his team returned to familiar ground: Jennifer Aniston, the favorite wife of the People Magazine crowd. Why does Jennifer keep playing along with this? Aniston gives the impression of now being totally fine with Brad… just because he and Angelina are no longer together. How is that a good look for her?

To be clear, I blame Brad more than Jennifer. Dane Cook was the one who organized this read-along and he told Maria Menounos this week that Jennifer signed on first, and that Brad signed on later. Dane says: “Once his team talked to him, I’m sure it was just like, ‘Here’s already in there so far.’ There was no hesitation, there was no rules, there was no, nothing… There wasn’t anything like… were they not allowed… No! Zero. No drama. They both locked in. What you saw was absolutely what we had hoped.” Ugh. Well, there you go. Who can even pay attention to Instamodels and Make It Right lawsuits now?

I honestly don’t know how Vanessa Bryant has been able to function at all this year. She buried her husband and her daughter Gianna in January, and she was put on display at the memorial at the Staples Center in LA. She was clearly beyond numb from grief, and at the time, I imagined that her family, Kobe’s family and the Lakers family all stepped up to help. As it turns out, Vanessa’s mother Sofia Laine came to live with Vanessa and her three remaining daughters, just to help out and be moral support. And now…Vanessa has kicked her mom out of the house…? Her mom gave a tearful interview to a Spanish-language TV outlet:

Vanessa Bryant’s mom claims her daughter kicked her to the curb after the death of her son-in-law, NBA superstar Kobe Bryant. Sofia Laine wiped away tears as she described the falling out with her grieving daughter in a clip that shows a preview of her sitdown interview with Univision reporter Dave Valadez.

Speaking in Spanish, Laine said the 38-year-old Vanessa forced her out of the home and demanded that she return the car she used.

“She told me, ‘I need you to get out of this house.’ She also told me that she wanted her car and she wants it now,” Laine said. The family drama comes as Vanessa mourns the loss of her 41-year-old husband and their 13-year-old daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash in January in Calabasas, California.

It’s unclear what led to the supposed falling out between the mother and daughter, as Laine has previously been described as Bryant’s “rock” as she navigated the tragic loss.

“[Vanessa] is incredibly close to her mom and her mom has been her rock throughout the past few weeks,” a source told US Weekly back in February. “Her mom is always with her and the girls [Natalia, 17, Bianka, 3, and Capri, 7 months] and she’s been keeping Vanessa strong and she’s the weight of her support system.”

Last night, Vanessa responded to Sofia’s interview and Vanessa is not having any of her mom’s bulls–t whatsoever:

“My husband and daughter passed away unexpectedly, and yet my mother had the audacity to do a television interview speaking negatively of me while shedding tears for a car and a house that were not in her name. She has removed all her diamond jewellery, emptied the apartment I provided, and put away the furniture to make it look like she doesn’t have my support. My husband and I have supported her financially for the past 20 years, and continue to do so, in addition to her monthly alimony.”

“Contrary to previous reports, she has not been physically present or emotionally supportive of my daughters and me after my husband and daughter passed away.”

“Now I see what is most important to my mother and it’s more than painful. I hope that everything that is coming out about our personal relationship ends here.”

Yeesh! Toxic parents are gonna toxic, but to choose to do this kind of sh-t THIS YEAR in her daughter’s life? That takes a special kind of narcissist parent. It sounds like Sofia wanted attention and Vanessa was focused more on her daughters and getting through everything, so Sofia decided to make a little five-act drama for herself. I actually know the type very well. I don’t doubt that Vanessa is beyond hurt at her mother’s actions.

Vanessa Bryant’s mom is the perfect example of why it’s acceptable to cut off toxic people no matter who they are to you because they will always be toxic and you’ll always end up poisoned.

I dubbed Katie Holmes and Emilio Vitolo “the New Afflarmas” because of the swiftness they went from “casually hanging out and doing very exclusive pap strolls” to “super-serious and spreading their love to as many paparazzi as possible.” It took about three weeks to get to this point. Emilio arrived at Katie’s apt to pick her up, but first Katie invited her Chef boyfriend to her apt where the couple spent half hour inside before going for a joyride in his red Pontiac. The Chef was a gentleman as Katie patiently waited for him to open the car door for her. The new couple were all smiles as they spent the day touring New York City.

“A joyride in his red Pontiac…” I…I can’t believe she’s 41 years old! Joyrides in Pontiacs lost their luster for me personally when I was, like, 17? I mean, first flush of love after a while, for sure, and she seems very happy that she’s with a guy who wants to be in public with her.

Also, I don’t understand her outfit at all, but I actually kind of dig that about Katie – she’s never really followed trends, she’s tried to be a trendsetter. She’s really going on dates with her man wearing knit (possibly cashmere) joggers, white tennis shoes and a blazer from the ‘80s. Also: Andrew Cuomo is going to yell at Emilio personally if Emilio continues to fuss with his mask.

Prince William is such a wannabe Hollywood type. That’s why there’s so much barely contained rage at the fact that Prince Harry married an actress and ended up moving to California – that was one of William’s dreams too, to run away and be a middle-class bloke who hangs out with celebrities. William has always fancied himself a PR genius and a natural on camera, like his mother. He is not. William’s not bad on camera, but he just doesn’t have his mother’s (or his brother’s) natural ease with people or natural ease on camera. So… William took part in a documentary about the environment. It looks… okay. It looks like it’s less about the environment than it’s about Prince William talking about how HE loves the environment.

Prince William, 38, gave royal fans a huge look into his private life when the Duke of Cambridge was joined by a film crew two years ago to record his search for ways to protect the natural world for the ITV documentary Prince William: A Planet For Us All. The documentary, which will be aired next month, said Prince William has “always loved nature”. The Duke added fatherhood has given him “a new sense of purpose”.

William meets people in the UK and abroad who are playing their part in protecting and restoring the environment during the programme, according to Kensington Palace. It also charts his journey from being passionate about conservation to wanting to play a greater global leadership role on the environment, they added.

The Prince also said that his children – George, seven, Charlotte, five, and two-year-old Louis – have had an impact on his views. He said: “Now I have got George, Charlotte and now Louis in my life – your outlook does change. You want to hand over to the next generation, the wildlife in a much better condition.”

William added: “I always believe it is possible to give young people hope and belief that things can get fixed. I have the belief that if we all work together, we can make a difference.”

Reader, I laughed: “It also charts his journey from being passionate about conservation to wanting to play a greater global leadership role on the environment…” LMAO. So, it charts his journey from being keen about the environment to being keen to be seen as an environmental leader. And William name-checking his children in his environmental/conservation work is nothing new. I’ve started to realize that fatherhood is basically the only card he plays when talking about mental health, the environment, sports, whatever. At least he’s not saying “we need to save the environment for MY children specifically,” which is what he used to do. He’s started to make it more general – the environment should be saved for all kids (but mostly his).
